Low key rubbish, because of homologation requirements for GT3.

With respect to the race cars;
At least ten race cars from each GT3 model must now be produced within 12 months of the car’s homologation date and 20 within the first two years.
With respect to road cars;
Homologation rules for GT3 require that race cars have at least 300 road cars built in their image

Why Lexus LFR? Isnt this going to be Toyota GR GT? I think it was trademarked some time ago.
LFR or LFA II, either way it’s going to be sold under the Lexus badge. Same reason as the original LFA. Toyota thinks it’s going to be easier to sell a $xxx,xxx car under a luxury badge.

It had a Lexus badge on it during this dealer meeting.

The GR GT3 concept has been the Lexus GT3 concept for the past 5 months now (Lexus did a great job preventing these from leaking to the media.. I did grab a few screenshots tho haha!)

I'm fairly certain the production version of this is going to be that "LFR" ttV8 Lexus sports car, and platform mate with the A100. At least, that's what I had gathered from this forum?

I don't see why the Lexus GT3 will a 3rd separate sports car from the LFR/A100. Unless it is true that the 2030 EV LFA successor will be the only car on the GT3 platform.

HONESTLY, the whole LFA successor/LFR situation has confused me a lot. I've seen Lexus refer to the EV 2030 supercar as the LFA successor, and then I've seen people refer to the GT3-based TTV8 sports car as the LFA successor. Which is it, or are both succeeding the LFA? And which one will be the LFR!

The LFR design in the show car concepts and in this test version on track do not look dated to me in the slightest.

The LFA had the same issue by the time it was released it just looked bland when compared to other supercars
