That is my understanding... I hope those that have hinted to seeing the production version in New York are correct!

Several outlets are reporting the production version will be a 2019 model going on sale before year-end 2018.

Not a fan of the single rear exhaust on this concept. The production version will likely look just like the best car rendering- which isn’t a bad thing.

So, Best Car stuff has been pretty accurate so far, which makes me hopeful for New York. Also, the Gran Turismo model is releasing in April, after New York. And as we know, a Gran Turismo model will generally have various specs listed. So, in theory, we would see a production concept with specs prior to the Gran Turismo release? Just a hopeful guess really.

Toyota finally listed this under their "Upcoming Vehicles" tab on their website.

The FT-1 was not listed as a concept when I checked a few weeks ago, and this was added sometime while I was sleeping last night/this morning.

What about that lap time on the steering wheel?Could it be from the racetrack in the photos?

I was also thinking this. Companies like to leave hints/clues on the production vehicle usually on the dashboard

If they are dropping hints... What course could they possibly be testing on where a lap of 3.14 is a good time?

Also, does the wheel read 6th gear and 320 KPH? 320 KPH = 198-199 mph.

Maybe it all means nothing in relation to the production version?
