Probably not the best PR move on their part to troll people.

Sure, release this model but since it’s so minor don’t build up people’s hopes when they’re expecting one or more very significant GR models that have been deep into development.

Oh I'm sure they do. It's no secret to anyone that they've been designing a new "MR2" (whatever they'll finally call it). It's only a matter of time before it actually shows up.

Which car brand has 6MT on offer for all of their sports/sporty car line up? Toyota was the only one sticking to their guns in not going the direction of all EV, unlike most of the European car brands. Even Porsche wants to drop ICE for the next cayman/boxster series until the EU caved in a month ago and allow for 10% non zero emissions in a company’s line up.

i was telling some of those European car manufacturers 5 five years ago when rhey want to go the direction of all EV that you will lose the EV war to Chinese manufacturers, no way you can compete on a cost base level. Without a motor most consumers will not pay a premium on a European EV that will become redundant in 5 years. Not to mention a lot of their workers with skills set grounded in ICE will lose their jobs….
