TPMS prices?!

I just checked for prices from Toyota for a set of 4 tire pressure sensors….$88 each!!!! And they seem to have a BMW part number?!
is there a cheaper alternative?

Damn... I should've gotten them when I got my wheels that one time Toyota made the pricing mistake. TPMS's were going for $20ish each

In case you got new wheels and didnt want to transfer the old ones over. Some people like to have a track set and street set of wheels and tires.

There are cheaper aftermarket alternatives. Can't say that I've tried any of these, but here are some examples:

The eBay ones worked fine for me. ~$100 and no issues. They also auto sync, no special tool needed, the car just detects them.

When I bought a winter set for my STI from TireRack about a month ago, they only charged $42 or something each.

And I have the ATEQ (?) programmer so on that car I just program the new TPMS so no error light. I'm not sure whether the newer 415M Hz (?) costs more... my STI is 2016 so using the 315M Hz (?) nothing fancy on there..
