Are there any exhaust systems that get in the way of the rear diff brace?

This kit does NOT work with solid diff bushings. Tried to install but there isn't enough (any) flex in the solid diff bushings for this to work.

If anyone wants to buy my complete Twisted tuning set DM me.

Hey @Twisted Tuning are you still producing these kits? I put in an order last week and got an email that the order was cancelled "due to unforeseen circumstances." Happy to put in another order if you're still making them.

yes, in stock. are you Justin H? if so yes it was cancelled, the order set off our fraud detection. so when that happens we just cancel to protect ourselves. there have been a ton of chargebacks on parts lately after hey receive the part they tell their bank they never got it or something.

you can put the order through. sorry for the inconvenience

Thank you! Probably did something weird on my end on accident. I'll put in another order, sorry you've been dealing with chargebacks.

We haven't published an actual installation manual yet, as the install is very straight forward in itself. But below are the torques specs.

TORQUE SPECS:

Rear Diff Brace Bolts (Upper/Lower) - 70ft/lbs, 95nm
Front Diff Mount Braces Bolt (Upper) - 20ft/lbs, 27nm
Front Diff Mount Braces Nut (Lower) - 74ft/lbs, 100nm

also now posted in the first post at the bottom. i'll eventually get around to published the install

what thread did i "duck" questions? smh
FYI - the Rear Diff Brace (Upper Bolts) at 70 ft/lbs seemed way too excessive. I torqued them to 40 ft/lbs and felt the aluminum threads on the sub frame bracket starting to stretch.

Those look m8 hardware. If so, the prescribed torque range for M8 hardware is about 36-55 ft-lbs. Low end of the range for grade 8.8, high end of the range for zinc-coated 12.9 grade. 40 is just about right if it's m8.

The fasteners he is talking about are M10

Update on torque specs. Thanks for the input @Loco38SUP.

Also, found that there is often crud (dirt, oils and etc) stuck above inside the subframe that can mimic the feel of threads stretching when tightening that plate down due to the crud being compressed.

But 40-45ft/lbs is enough.

TORQUE SPECS:

Rear Diff Brace Bolts
(Upper) - 43ft/lbs, 58nm
(Lower) - 70ft/lbs, 95nm

Front Diff Mount Braces Bolt (Upper) - 20ft/lbs, 27nm
Front Diff Mount Braces Nut (Lower) - 74ft/lbs, 100nm

Hi Twisted Tuning

Will there be any sale in the coming months(BF or XMas)? I'm very interested and would like to buy the front+rear kit.

Hello,

likely not since we tend to keep our prices pretty fair all the time already.
