My vibration has returned. I just yesterday had a chance to drive it on the interstate and the vibration is still there. So I guess it wasn't the driveshaft.
Mine is at the same dealer now. Maybe with both of ours to look at they will figure something out.

My luck isn't the best. I had my car at the dealer for 1.5 hours today only for the rep to come and tell me that he realized that the supra specialist isn't in and that I might have to leave the car with them for the day or bring in the car again tomorrow.

I chose just to take the car home for the day.

I guess I'll just choose to look at the bright side in that it seems they're taking my problem seriously and not brushing me off saying the vibration is normal? Idk ?

*edit

Took my car back from the dealer. Service advisor said multiple techs apparently test drove my ca, including himself and they're saying they don't find anything wrong with the car

So this is a dead end for now
Have them ride with you and show them whats going on. They did this to me too and I had to ask to show them what I'm talking about.

Idk if this is a dumb theory or not but maybe my vredrestein tires are reacting to the weather? Weather in NY fluctuates; it hasn't been consistently cold since I switched to winter wheels. Yesterday and the other day it was cold and yesterday it was smooth as hell, through 60, 70, 80 mph. Today it got warmer and the vibrations returned. Maybe on the day the dealer tested my tires it was cold (and thus when they tested it, it was smooth and they said there was nothing to fix). Idk lol

This is all useful information. Thanks to all for the feedback.
I continue to hope an interested dealer service dept or intuitive tech will keep at it until the mystery is solved.
Unfortunately, without Toyotas assurance there will be compensation for the effort and time of theres little incentive for service techs to delve into this.

2nd Dealer has now told me "this is normal".

I too have noticed a slight vibration. Recently. I had aftermarket tires placed on new rims and wheel weights were used at diff spots and diff amounts per rim. That got me thinking and I looked at my stock rims...all the wheels weights are in the same location and same amount for each wheel. There's no way that stock rims are manufacturerd so precisely that each wheel is the same...

On the same boat with steering wheel vibrations once I reach 70mph. I wonder if anyone else shares the same experience where it stops once I reach 80mph and above.

Given there is a feature where the steering wheel vibrates as an alert/warning, I'm sure its going to be a pain getting a tech/advisor to look into it without brushing it off as normal.

Mine is also between 70 and 80. Smooth as glass at all other speeds. My thoughts at this point is a harmonic or aero imbalance. Just like we get wind buffering with the windows down.
My question to everyone on this thread. Does anyone have any kind of aero mods and still have the vibration problem. I have the little wings on the front windows to stop the buffering, but no other mods. I am guessing no one with aero mods is having this problem.

You would think so, but the independent shop charged me less for the road force balancing than my dealer charged me for the standard balancing ?

*edit

Yea the road force balancing didn't fix my issue. I might just be prepared to live with it
Did you get the road force pounds per tire after they balanced them? Out of round tires can cause vibrations. After Discount Tire replaced my tires and having a different shop do a proper road force balance it's smooth as butter. All of my tires now balance in spec.

Had my wheels checked by a wheel repair shop. The wheels are true. So I've eliminated a bent wheel as the culprit.

Still feels suspension-related on my vehicle. I've noticed the car has started pulling hard to the right at random times too. Like tramlining that comes and goes.

I've also noticed much more feedback overall coming up through and into the steering wheel. Every small bump on the road or non-smooth surface has the steering wheel bouncing around in my hands. The front end of the car no longer feels firmly planted on the road.

This is a horrible experience driving a car like this every day as the Supra was SUCH a smooth-riding car for 4k miles. Now the constant feedback in the steering wheel makes it almost unbearable to drive.

2021 3.0 Premium w/ driver assist here - I've experienced this kind of vibration through the steering wheel in the speed range you described in the original post. For me it's a split second thing and then goes away, but feels almost identical to the lane keep assist/blindspot warning vibration (which I turned off after a couple days of driving). I've noticed anecdotally that it seems to happen on sweepers or gentle curves on the freeway.

I figured it's something finicky with the driver assist warning software and just ignored it lol. It's almost a sensation like a "phantom vibration" from your phone in your pocket. Second guessed myself a few times whether or not it was real.

A possibility is the suspension and steering design makes the GR really sensitive to even slight out of balance/ out of round tires. Most tire shops balance tires to a tolerance +/- spec...not to zero. The car requires zero out of balance so we have this humming resonance at 65- 75 range.

I've just got used to the feeling tbh. Sometimes I don't even notice it unless I think about it now
