Drove the Supra to work today and drove right by the CHP doing mobile smogs on the side of the road.... Going to be a lot of mad people today that get sent to the ref or get big $$$ tickets for missing smog components.

My mind went there, not literally pulling people over to do smog checks. I'm tired. Also, I suppose it pays to live in a red state at times, amirite? The day they start doing that in KY is the day 1/2 of the vehicles become non-road-worthy here.

Think about it like a DUI check point. They cone the whole street off and force you to go through a line. Then they pick and choose who goes on the smog machine. Its literally a dyno on trailer with a sniffer machine right next to it. They pop your hood and do a visual inspection too.
