Hello again,

I am asking regarding what should my expectations be when completing my pure800 build. I found a pure800 at a good price and after watching CES’s video regarding tuning with it I feel like it is very close to the power level I am looking for.

I was shooting for 700-800whp, ideally landing in the middle. I have easy access to E so that’s why I am open to building it out. I have spent a lot of time reading the forums here alongside the Routes to Big Power since that was the inspiration for starting my build.

I saw that CES’s landed on 717 I believe and that is a little shorter than what I am shooting for but not far off. Is that a realistic goal to extract from the Pure 800 with PI?

I have been slowly attaining parts and have continued to research parts as I am currently looking into my intake manifold, in another thread, but I was wondering if the turbo can push me there.

I have also read that the stock internals can make it to about 800hp without too much fear and that’s why I am shooting for this power level, alongside being able to match/beat a model S plaid in a 60-130 run.

I do also want to maintain some level of reliability since I do know I can push it to the limit and just wait till it pops, I prefer NOT to do that. I just want to be able to meet/beat that goal when necessary and the rest of the time just enjoy occasional pulls and driving since I am not too harsh with my cars regardless and live in a pretty stable climate, where 75 degree days and no humidity is standard.

I might ambitious with my goals but since I have begun, I want to build it right to achieve my goal. I am open to hearing about power levels of the pure 800 alongside any advice relating to my power goal.

Video gif. Man sits at an office desk and bangs his head down on the desk in frustration.

...........................I don't even know where to beginning.

My dude........... a car on a freely spinning roller showing big numbers on a Dynojet is great for the algorithm and marketing, but putting that power down onto the pavement without snapping something is a different story.
You're on a 2port with a lot more backpressure, I recommend chilling the fuck out with this 800hp dream.
The B58 is impressive, but it's no 2J. 600 for a B58 is easy and will live there forever. My LP610-4 was 600, and trust me, 600 is fast as fuck.
800-1000 on a B58...... achievable? yes, sustainable? Let us know how that goes.

Ditch the Temu parts strategy and start spending money on quality.
Except for spool performance. Then I prefer you buy it from Temu
I'll just list what you'll need so you can understand that this won't be a cheap endeavor.

-Bench unlock
-Tuning platform (Bm3, MHD+ or EcuTek)
-Flex fuel kit
-LPFP (Radium and always pick a walbro pump)
-Surge tank (depends on street or track use)
-1050cc injectors
-Reflex+ or Rev2 (Aux controller for PI, meth, LPFP, Presure Sensors ect..)
-Aux controller PnP harness (but since youre being cheap about this just use the vampire taps the kit comes with)
-water/meth (since you bought the Temu intake manifold you'll need it)
-transmission (stock limits 550 or 600 torque, I forget)
-Axles
-driveshaft or Guibo
-Radial tires
-2 rear radial rims.
-buy the pure 900 but I doubt they make it for a 2port so switch to the Remnant 2port turbo kit It's a Garrett copy with larger runners. And since you like buying parts on alibaba this kit is perfect for you.
-A tuner who will tolerate someone who is learning. So, price in switching tuners 2 times. And someone who won't be a lazy fuck and phone in your tunes.

Nah, Only his delightful side. I think @i3igpete is the only knowledgeable veteran left here that still has the patience for this stuff.
There's other knowledgeable people too along with you, but it's too early in the morning to remember this shit

nah....I forgot about you too nanaisu. I don't know shit about coding. You've probably already data dumped and decrypted the entire Bosch DME ROM by now.

I appreciate the help noted, I know the list of parts necessary and began shopping for them as I followed the guide to Route to Big Power.

I get that numbers on a screen are just numbers so that’s why I am asking for real world input. I can manipulate a chart to say I have 10,000 HP but you are right if I can’t use it it is useless.

I merely wanted opinions on the eBay intake manifold and that’s why I asked. I don’t think it’s beating any other manifold letting alone being the best for the money. I already heard enough to go against it, and I will. I am looking at EOS one at 3.2k I found nearby.

I do have some mods already completed as I do know it will cost money and want to achieve a goal while maintaining a level of reliability that is expected with the platform even under increased stress.

i already have flex fuel kit, I am unlocked, I have had my trans built already, I am working towards the end but still am piecing along parts as I continue to go forward.

They don’t make a pure900 for the 2 port but I have seen a KLM kit catch my attention and as much as I wanted to avoid a top mount option, I might just lean towards it to achieve that power level. But this goes back to if the stock internals can handle it because if not then no point and rather stick to a lower number and maintain that.

I am already budgeting a solid 20k to achieve it but rather I am trying to find the point of diminishing returns, if everything is happy at 600whp and since my trans is built it can sustain it, might just get to there and stop there.
That’s why I keep asking, and the biggest issue is finding a patient tuner and I agree with you 100%. I want to understand my car since I want to push it further.

Yes they do.
OMG you're still here

I don't even know if this is possible, but is there anyway you can put your knowledge back on the threads? I look and a lot of them just say trash site (I understand why you did that), but the stuff you shared was really helpful.

If not, thanks for what you left

If you're worried about the stock internals of the motor then a hybrid shouldn't be your preference. Top mounts are less stressful on the motor. Honestly you should spend more time researching exactly what you want on here and on Facebook
