Today would be the last chance to get a good deal on a 2020 since it's end of the $3500 cash-back, unless Toyota extends it. For reference, for those who might be shopping in So. Cal., a few weeks ago I passed on a Launch Edition for $50k, and last week I picked up a 2020 Premium with almost all accessories for $46.7k.
Thats an awesome deal. Whihc dealer, I dont mind travelling ig they have any red one's available.

I am looking for the 2020 supra's in the Bay area and I cannot find a single dealer who is selling the car for less than 50k. I am seeing posts on this forum of people buying their cars for 48k and some even 46k. I did know a dealer who was selling for 48 but then I missed out as they sold it to someone else.

Anyone know any good deals in the bay area. This stupid pandemic screwed up all my plans. I was supposed to buy this car in March... :(
Got a great deal from Santa Cruz Toyota. Red LE fully loaded for 53k before tax and 0% financing. Car had less than 50 miles on it, brand spanking new.

They also have a white premium there that they want to get rid of badly.

Congrats! Which dealership? I called Santa Cruz Toyota and they don't have any Supra's left apparently.

There isn't a ton of inventory left on the 2020s in the Bay Area. It seems a good amount got gobbled up once Toyota introduced the $3,500 rebate or 0% for qualifying buyers back in May. I recently started hunting myself and of the 30 Toyota dealers in the greater Bay Area, only 8 dealers have a Supra, with a total of 12 cars of which 10 are 2020s and 2 are 2021s with only one Launch Edition remaining.

I'm deciding between a Phantom or Nitro myself and most inventory looks to be Absolute, Tungsten, Renaissance Red, or Nocturnal. Was somewhat tempted by the LE at Melody Toyota but given the lack of any major deal I think I'll hold off for a 2021, at basically the same price point the power differential is worth waiting for, at least for me.

For any other lurkers like myself who have been following this thread, here's the current collection of new Supras in the Bay Area, hope it's helpful and good luck with haggling:

Relatedly, LA seems to have greater inventory if you're willing to make the trek.

Thanks for providing the links! I reached out to Antioch Toyota and their sales rep Giancarlo got back to me with the following quote for a Premium:

"We have one last 2020 Supra in stock, color Nocturnal w/ black
leather interior. You can buy this one at 1,000 BELOW dealer's invoice plus tax & license....from here you
choose between a 3,500 rebate OR 0% 60 month financing on approved credit.
I have attached the specs for you to review, let me know if you want to come see it

MSRP: 56,680
INVOICE: 52,491
SALE PRICE: 47,991 after 3,500 rebate (plus tax & license)
*or skip the rebate and take advantage of 0% 60 month financing on approved credit."

I'm going to hold off on purchasing for now but for those are are looking, you can maybe use this quote to negotiate with other dealerships. Best of luck!

Thanks a bunch for sharing this! This is a solid quote, and the dealers in the area are willing to play ball with it.

Went in to some in person and this was helpful to anchor on, the reps will call Antioch to confirm and then say the best they can do is match it. If anyone wants a Rennaissance Red, Putnam Toyota is willing to do $47,991 + $925 for the CF mirrors + TT, comes out to about $55k OTD. I'd like to keep it around $52K OTD for a 2020 so if anyone else has urgency and wants to get into a Red Supra this is on par with some of the "good" deals seen in the forums.

Don't have a Supra yet but already loving this community :)

You should be able to do better than that. I got a red Premium with Driver Assist package, CF mirror caps, PPF on hood, wheel locks, cargo mat, and cargo tote for $46.7K; $51.3K with TTL.

I was leaning towards a 2021 but $11K savings was hard to pass.

Maybe less inventory in Northern Cali, I have been looking for a good deal for a couple weeks and best I could find was 49.5 and that sold before i could check it out.

Assuming 8% sales tax, your numbers come to roughly $52,9k OTD. That $900 can be negotiated. In the current economy if you tell him you'll take it for $52k OTD I would be surprised if he didn't take that.
