That's as much fun as Somerset roads get - unless you want to drop in to a pothole so large they need a caving team to find you.
Yea I've driven/ridden all around GB. The IOM is the only saving grace.

because I live in Florida which means flat straight roads and not a single curvy road for 100 miles in any direction. The only thing to do is get more power so you go zoom-zoom faster in a straight line.
Time to hit Sebring or Homestead ?

Because you always need more!

I'll be honest though, the biggest issue I found with the car as standard was how anodyne it sounded/felt. A few well selected mods brings it to life...

...then immeadiately follow that with a full stage 3 setup! :drive: :nixon:

Sounds great, which exhaust is that?

It’s hard to be thrilled about anything, power wise for a reasonable price after riding a 1000cc bike. However, a bolt on Soup is plenty fun and even better to get a passenger that’s excited.

Yeah this is basically what I was gonna post.

Stock power was fun especially the quick torque on tap, but after being in some faster cars it wasn't enough on the top end. Now running flex fuel e50 with more of a dd custom tune it's plenty fast for a street car. It's a lot more fun when you get a chance to wind it out or do a longer pull, although more than a second or two means going slightly over the speed limit lol.

100%. I absolutely understand what 86/BRZ guys always say about "how much more fun it is to have a slower car so you can floor it and go through all the gears without committing a felony", but power is just too damn addictive. Going from a ~320 WHP bolt-on 370z to even a stock Supra felt like an entirely different stratosphere of power.

I might be the outlier but I agree with OP. Stock power is tons of fun, especially if the suspension and aero hasn't been touched because let's be real, stock power is TOO much for stock chassis.

My favorite thing to do is make my wife be DD then have her take me on joyrides after a night out. Drunkenly sitting passenger while my wife does a 1-2-3 pull is in a way actually more fun than driving the car itself. I feel like a little kid!
Dam, your lucky! I give mine 1/4 throttle and my old lady starts yelling stop!!!

I'll admit I originally planned/expected to upgrade the turbo soon after paying off the car. The car has now been paid off over a year but more power has dropped in priority. Certainly still on the list but my current order of operations is new truck, coilovers to finish off the suspension mods, and then I'll revisit going faster. If tracking was in the equation it would be a much different story but that will cut into the weights and golf so hasn't happened...if only there was more time in the day.
