I think I will be getting this soon, wanted to see what the community felt after a few months. I have been rocking sport plus and it is great, Love the brap you get when you let off the gas after heavy throttle, with XHP some slightly quicker shifts and some better rev matched and blipped downshifts would be awesome, don't really need much more then that, don't need more redline since stock turbo falls off at 6k anyway.

No issues with mine on stage 2, everything working great and the shifts feel much better than stock. The updated shift points make it so normal
node is actually useful as well which is nice.

completely different things with different purposes. Jb4 increases boost and power, this is just for the trans tuning

They're completely different products with completely different use-cases. XHP tunes the transmissions, and JB4 is a boost controller with some extra features.

I'm still saying that XHP isn't ready. It behaves so crazily on the drag strip, it's hard to recommend. I know that most people aren't dragging the car, but it's the same software. Heavy braking causes very abnormal behavior (which causes drive train malfunction). There is really nothing unique about driving on a drag strip, it's just hard acceleration. It's not like the trans tune knows you're on a drag strip.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But you all do you.

I really like the idea of this mod making normal mode usable with the new shift points I’ve been reading about in this thread, but if what you’re saying is true about it acting weird sometimes then I agree, it just isn’t ready yet. I’ll wait until this is perfected and behaves as it should.

Ive had it since it came out, I have had zero issues with it, nothing quirky or anything, not after multiple pulls to over 150, many high 10 low 11 dragy passes, im on stage 3 but version v1.0 with the 3-2 DS at 17%. in v1.1 under sport+ (which again i dont drive in often but sometimes i do) and all the traction control off, it was reverting back to like not being tuned. I even ran out to LVMS and ran it on the outside course, though not at 10/10th, hell probably not even at 7-8/10's i run drag radials in the back lol

I did want to edit: i have seen a few drag racers claim exactly what @zrk stated, so i do know something is going on, but ive asked for the situations and no one can give me a answer, so i havent been able to replicate it. I do a burn out, roll it out some, back up to the prep and take off, best on the trans tune was 10.8@128. The spot we can run here in vegas is "prepped" but runs down hill and not valid, but it's the only spot to actually test with out spinning, can pull 1.6 60ft times on worn out NT05r's aired to 17 psi

I've also been running this since about week 1, maybe very early week 2. I've had 0 issues at all aside from the 3>2 downshift on stage 3 being very aggressive. I changed it to -17% and the issue is fine now. I still haven't upgraded to v1.1. The car runs and drives, in my opinion, better than stock in the since that the shift points are better and quicker. Incredibly responsive through the paddles versus stock. It's weird. When you've driven the car enough in stock form, you don't notice the lag between the paddles and the trans shifting. After xHP, you def notice it.

I would highly recommend it for normal use cases and some spirited driving. Apparently there are issues with drag strips though. Like @zrk said, this may not be 100% ready yet, but it seems most people aren't running into issues on the street under normal use cases.

Knowing that the stock launch control is trash. Has anyone messed with the launch control settings and have a better outcome than stock.
tried this but ultimately settled on not using it at all. I set "start from second gear" and set torque limits if it's really slippery but in the end launching from second can never use the factory LC
