I wanna try & mess with the shift points in normal/comfort mode someday. Even in stage
Glad others are enjoying it. I'm dialing in my settings again for my 2nd supra, I have notepad in the car and I'm doing 5% adjustments based on how the car drives in ACC or me driving the pedal. How'd you calculate those RPMs, I should consider doing that, but it seems like the car also shifts based on load too?Here is my contribution to the thread. Also props to @Xproplayer for posting his D-mode settings as a baseline.
I’ve been running xHP mostly D-mode to improve normal driving while cruising around. My car doesn’t like shifting at low RPMs.

The RPMs are based on gradual pedal input while accelerating, like when cruising around. The deeper you get into the pedal the higher the shift points.
I tried to disable 1st gear on the last car but I found the car would get confused, it'd display no gear, then it'd try to shift to an invisible 1st gear, have you had any symptoms like that? I don't recall it working between modes either, but xhp has been adding features quite often. Maybe I just did the permanent lock 2nd gear which is more aggressive.
they just hide it as "drag race mode" and say it will wear your clutch packs out faster (it will)
No problems in stop and go traffic or brake boosted digs. I turned on the display gear option and it always starts in 2nd.

No doubt. I don't do track driving either and XHP is one of those mods that I think was worh it the most. The car is now drivible in the auto normal mode, and the sport mode is alot better. I'm running the stage 2 OTS.
Did you have to fiddle with the settings a bit when you got it installed? Or was Stage 2 comfortable for ya just the way it was? Just curious, as I’ll spend a LOT of time messing with settings like these to get it absolutely perfect as possible.
Both my supras were just catback exhausts, not even an intake. XHP makes the shifts better from a performance standpoint / intensity (which I prefer, I don't like lazy shifts), adjust shift points for D mode, standstill decoupling, and being able to dial in other shift configurations like ignition cut. If you aren't a deep dive nerd, just flashing stage 2 you'll likely enjoy the trans a bit more, but it can add some harshness. I recommend XHP to everyone in our local chapter, and everyone who's done it loves it.
I'd say 25-50% of people who use xhp would be fine with OTS, but I think it's more common to tweak a few settings.
I haven’t really seen the need to modify it, not yet at least. But i usually shift manually most of the time, so to modify the auto behavior isn’t so important for me.
