3 seconds to shift? Even when my Supra was bone stock it wasn’t even close to that slow. I probably would have sold the car if it sucked that much.

That’s worse than a 1983 caddy.

shift
That's the feeling coming from how I had my XHP configured.

I just took another drive on the stock tune with full usage of the rev range, I think I can say that the stock tune is never harsh and it's not exactly slow when accelerating. BUT with XHP it's just better, I feel like I have more control, I tell it to shift NOW and it does, unlike the stock flash. I get more ignition cut shifts, I can stay in 2nd gear when I want to, all shifts are faster and crisper with XHP. There is the downside that some shifts (and especially downshifts if not configured) will be harsh, but on average all shifts will be better.

Will xHP/Bimmercode work with ethernet cable with USB-C adapter on the phone? If yes, which connector do I need to buy: 1 or 2? Is 100Mbps speed for USB-C adapter enough for stable data transfer?

xHP will not work with an ENET cable for the initial flash. You will need a DCAN cable for that. It’s much smarter to just buy one of the well known wireless adapters such as MHD/bm3/xA Ultra.

Thanks for info, I think I'll stay with xHP original wireless device.

Will not work with ENET BimmerLink/Bimmercode will. You will need a xHP adapter or you can use a Thor adapter you can buy from visconti website which works.

If you’re talking about the upshift farts that’s fuel cut you can adjust those.

If anyone would like to add their two cents to assist me with my issues, I have been on a Stage 1 Pure Trans for about 9 months now (Sep 2025) and I have not been able to figure out how to have this trans shift as smoothly as possible for track/street driving. I am currently on Stage 3 XHP w/ custom settings (listed below) but have tried stage 2 and even stage 1. I am working with Zach from CSG for my ECU calibrations now but I would really like to dial in this transmission for my track purposes. I have previously messed with ignition cut shifting and torque reduction upshifts but I can’t seem to find something that works without my trans being rough from 2nd-5th gears up and down. Would appreciate any advice on this issue.

Unless the trans is built there is no need for a stage 3 you won’t touch safely anything above 600 wtq on that trans. Recommend building it or stay within the limits of the transmission which is stage 2. There are tuners that are strictly just xHP or you can find an actual tuner who also tunes the trans for you.

Stage 3 is safe/fine on stock trans, I'm 3000 miles on mine @ ~500TQ and I drive the car hard for most of my miles.

I am on a PDS Stage 1 Built Transmission. Stock turbo pushing about 450whp/480lb-ft on 93 and 520whp/560lb-ft on e50.
