Civic community is also diverse enough to include the immature owners, but every community has its good and bad.

Unfortunately our cars are like hated as much as a bastard child of a German and a Japanese person during world war 2.

Driver preference. Type R is an amazing confidence inspiring vehicle, but some people like the Supra. The dynamics of throwing it into a corner are different.

Side note: I’ve done like 7 trackdays and have found so much hate for the car to where people come up to me just to talk shit
I've been in enough car communities to know that there are assholes / immature folks everywhere. That's just like in society. I just pick out the good ones and associate myself with those. Simple as that.

But you're absolutely right. So much hate for this car. I love your analogy of it being a bastard child in WW2. haha (though historically wouldn't it be more accurate to say that it's like a bastard child between the japanese and the chinese? Just saying... given that Japan and Germans were both Axis).

The Type R is an amazing car. I can't reiterate that enough. But it has severe limitations and that was something of a deal breaker for me. Not to say that the Supra doesn't have limitations but I believe the potential is definitely higher. How high? Not sure.... I guess I'll find out in the coming months. ;)

I haven't had someone just walk up to me to talk shit but then again I'm not exactly the most approachable guy. That and I barely drive it on the street. haha.

If this is going to primarily live at the track, have you considered just going to sphericals or at least polyurethane bushings? This car feels like it has marshmellows and bushing deflection for days..:p

I'd also ping TAPG as their build is gorgeous, dominated CoTA a few weeks back with WRL.

Is there a company that makes aftermarket bushings for this car?

I've been driving the car to the track so I might stick with the stock bushings for now but might be open to it down the road.

I'm new to the A90 platform as well so I don't have a lot of depth here. Besides SPL, Verkline and Wisefab come to mind if you want to get wild.

Have you done an oil change yet? If you did, did you go to Gary?
Yeah. Gary did the first oil change on it.

It's probably due for another one though.

Thank you, how many miles did you do your first? I will probably go to Gary then lol
We did it really early on because I had a track day scheduled within like 4 days of purchasing the car. So the oil change was done at like 500 miles. haha.

Do you daily the supra or is it more of a track car only? I ask because I'm curious what spring rates you have on the JRZs, and whether it's harsh on the street

THe car is mainly a track car but it sees its share of the street. Car is very compliable. Honestly you wouldn't be to tell that the car has coilovers.
