yeah i would love to, i'm a big autocrosser personally and i do that about once a month. Its less me judging and more me just being afraid i'll not actually be able to push the car how i want and then there goes 250$

What are your current alignment specs?
Only front swaybar so far right? none adjustment?

I'll have to dig up the sheet for my alignment.

Currently we only have the front sway bar on there. The rear is too much of a pain to install. lol.

As I am going back and re-reading this build i realized your front ride height on the jrz looked higher than the rear. Then you updated it and mentioned you raised the back up because it was rubbing.

Where was it rubbing exactly?

Went to the track on 2/6/2021 at Sonoma Raceway. I was registered in both the OP2 and mixed group. Slow advanced and intermediate respectively. Attended the track day with a few of my buddies (a group of CTR's, a GT4, and another Supra).

The Supra has had nothing done to it since our last outing to T-hill. Tires have about 20 sessions on them beginning of the day and the rotors have almost 6-7 track days. So the consumables were a bit worn. Despite all that, the Supra took it like a champ. Ended up besting my Supra pb by about ~ 4 seconds as we went from a 1.56 to a 1.52.

In it's current state, I think the car has plenty left in it. I'm still adjusting to a RWD platform so it's more about the driver than it is the car. haha.

Next up:

I'm still waiting on the aero to come in from Spage. Once we get that in, we can finally start dialing in the suspension. Also hoping to free up some more time in the coming months to get out there and drive more. Both work and home life has been a bit hectic so it's been a bit hard these days to find time to indulge in hobbies. haha.

On top of that people kept asking to sit in my car. While I don't mind driving friends around, these same friends started to tell me to drive THEIR friends around and that's what really got annoying. I don't even know these people and I honestly DGAF if you drove out here to not sit on the sideline. Especially when said individual doesn't listen to the track rules. At some point this person was LIVE IG'ing our session like they were some influencer. I HATE influencers. Nonetheless, so as not to be rude, I obliged and spent a majority of my track day basically acting like a ring taxi.
To stop people asking for a ride on motorbikes, we would just remove the passenger pegs and use that as an excuse for no passengers. Could you not just remove the passenger seat and use that as an excuse? Not sure how easy it is to remove a Supra passenger seat.........

I don't mind taking passengers, just not strangers that I probably will never see / talk to again.

Also I know what you mean by passengers on the bike. I usually tell them no unless they're I think they're hot. haha.

3/29/2021: AT LONG LAST... ANOTHER TRACK DAY - Laguna Seca

UgMHjX.jpg

Been way too long. What was that? 2 months? Anyways.... FINALLY got to go to another track day. The Lord Almighty knows I needed this one. Way too much work / stress not to go.

Joined in on a Laguna Seca track day hosted by Golden Gate Lotus Club. I ran in both Novice and Advanced.

Since the last track day we've installed:
- Spage Front Lip / Splitter Combo
- Spage Rear Wing
- Stiffened up the rear springs from 850 to 1200
- New alignment
- AP / Essex Racing Rear BBK
- Antigravity H7 60AH battery

Let me again thank the guys at Elite Performance for getting my car ready. You guys are the best. Despite being swamped, you guys made time to make sure to accommodate my crazy tendencies and I. Thank you thank you thank you.

Also shout out to Jackie Ding for helping my clueless ass on this build. Your assistance has been instrumental.

Ok. Here we go:

1. Spage Aero - The wait was a bit long. I ordered this aero package from Spage back in October I think...? So it took about 5-6 months from ordering to receiving the product. All in all, I guess it wasn't bad considering the swan neck from Voltex is backordered for a year. Product is totally worth it though. Completely transforms the drive ability of this car and the quality of the product is amazing. My mechanic and friends were totally blown away.

I couldn't even get the car to spin. In fact the only place it got loose a bit was on Turn 2 during the slow-medium speed turns (where aero doesn't have an affect). Just completely planted throughout the course.

Completely in love with this car now.

Note: These pictures of the wing is with the "street" style end plates. For the track ones, please refer to Jackie Ding's build.

2. AP Racing Rear BBK - If you guys are thinking about just doing the front brakes, I implore you to add the rear as well. Before we added the rear bbk, the car would get all jittery after a couple of hard braking points. I suspect this was due to the fact that only changing the front BBK messed up the brake bias of the car.

Well, that problem is no more. Was smashing on it all day and the car just braked harder and harder. It seems that by adding the rear BBK, balance has been restored.

3. Antigravity H7 60 AH battery - More than 40 lbs savings? F*** yes. Kind of a no brainer to do this mod because we all know what a pig our cars are. Add in the fact that it has a restart function built into the battery and it's just perfect.

Important note though: It's been brought to my attention that switching the battery to an aftermarket one would need some kind of reprogramming. I still haven't figured out how to do this but the car drove fine without the reprogramming.

I'll upload the videos from my track day some other time. Turns out when you leave on a work day to go racing, that work compiles onto the next work day. :p

Love the car and the actual functional mods you're doing for the track. Hope to see you and your car someday soon at a local meet!

You keeping the spoiler a decklid mount or will you also try for a chassis mounting solution like Jackie?

We're going to keep it a deck lid. The chassis mount isn't necessary if you use both "layers" of the trunk to hold the wing. Jackie cut away a layer so his wing needs the chassis reinforcement.

Nor cal tracks are also not as fast. Our straights are fairly short.

Amazing Build bro! Quick question, does the rear BBK now deem the E-brake useless? Because the Brembo Rear BBK makes the E-Brake not work.
