I have to say I've driven the C8 and it walks all over the Supra. The guy in the C8 either doesn't know how to drive at all or the Supra is pushing 700hp+.

That's quite an exaggeration in how much power is needed to beat that C8 in a rolling race . The mods are in the topic. The Supra makes around +50hp and over 100tq more than the C8 while weighting 150-200lbs less stock. Definitely don't need 700hp or anywhere close to it to beat a c8 in a rolling race.

On a side note the video title is click bait and I'd down vote it just for that. ?

Supra with e50 tune, DP, exhaust and filter is around 500hp and high 500s tq. The C8 in the video with filter change and exhaust is around 460hp and 440tq. You don't think a Supra with +40hp and over 120tq more can beat a c8 in a rolling race? Especially given it weights a good 200lbs less than a z51 c8. I'd be pretty surprised if it can't.

Not sure where the info came from on the C8 but off the showroom floor, it is nearly 500HP and close to the same number in torque. Hey, I am a Supra believer and am sure that one could be modified to beat a C8 but I am sure a C8 could be modified to beat a 911 turbo as well.....

A Z06 variant of the C8 will probably do just that....

Its actually about a 300lbs difference in curb weights, The C8 is a pretty big car.

Hey, I am a Supra believer and am sure that one could be modified to beat a C8.

But that's what the video is showing and that's why I mentioned all the mods. Click on the Youtube video and open up the description to see what mods each car has. Also, the numbers I mentioned are fairly realistic whp/tq where as the number you're referencing for the c8 is the rated bhp. The c8 only dynos around 430-450 to the wheels.
