Just to let everyone know, I have mine in getting the recall done right now. My tech came out to ask me if I had a tune on it, as the ECU flash would overwrite any tines that are on it. So I hope that helps someone!

Figured we would have to reload our tunes + have to go through the bench unlock again. I'm more interested in seeing if any changes via Bimmercode remain or if we have to recode everything.

Anyone have a how stuff works animation of a crankshaft-based brake booster? I'm apparently a noobly newb to cars.. because I thought it took vacuum from the intake manifold..

Normally that's true, but on the B58 the throttle plate stays fully open all the time, there is no vaccum in the manifold to pull from. It's the same reason we can't run traditional BOVs, there's no vacuum reference to pull them open when you let off the throttle.

They applied to fix to my 2022 the day before i picked it up.

So for those that got the recall done, would you try for us double pressing the start button with your foot on the brake to see what happens?

I think the goal here is for it to do nothing.. or trigger Siri to say that annoying “uh huh?”.

Man, thank god. I was looking into paying for this feature. As a person who is keeping the car stock, this recall is dope for me now.

I have Android. I don't know why they don't do Android Auto as all other manufacturer do.
