The oil consumption issue looks to be largely solved with a higher viscosity oil. The 0W-20 is like water in the heat. Most people that have done the oil switch have seen the issue resolve itself from what I have witnessed. Probably exceptions. Toyota has been pretty silent on the issue. It will not impact the resale value IMO.I predict the 2020's will hold their value more than the 2021's+ due to the oil consumption issues and the fact that they aren't tuneable. Only time will tell.

. Also, I firmly believe that in another six months, the 21/22 and updated 2020 DMEs will ALL BE CRACKED, so that completely nullifies the DME differences, leaving Downshift Blue (or maybe a Launch Edition) as the single reason to shop a 2020.
