I will also add for transparency that I have ordered from Visconti and was impressed with their response when I contacted them. I submitted my online order and then was sent out on travel for work. I contacted them immediately to let them know I would be traveling and I wouldn’t be home to receive the order. My fault not theirs. John was able to re-route my package so it wouldn’t be sitting at my apartment for several weeks while I was away for work. It was inconvenient yes but they did everything in their ability to make sure I got what I ordered. They didn’t have to do that.

the rules say "no promotion of your own products" it isn't mine, it's a bonus for the community you fucking tool bag.

😂😂😂

Man, I wish I was flexible enough to suck myself off like you and John are

Hi there, again.

As mentioned on facebook, you asked about the return AFTER you purchased your bluetooth module and AFTER it was shipped. This means if the item was returnable or not, had zero influence on you purchasing it. You "found" the one that came with your used car you purchased after it was already on the way to you.

You then asked if you could return it. I did say yes. I was incorrect. But the return policy has always been available on our website. As I told you before, If I told you it was returnable before you purchased and you were stuck with it due to my my incorrect information, I wouldve taken it back myself even though John wouldnt, and refunded you out of my pocket as itd be my fault. But you purchased it beforehand.

Please dont crop photos and make the story one sided.

You mean a non-vendor, broke a rule and was banned because of doing so? Wow. Crazy. If you were a vendor, you could promote whatever youd like. But you arent. If any of the other vendors (as there are multiple other companies) - Want to do so, theyre more than welcome. I dont make the rules, Im just one of many that assist on enforcing them.

I have zero idea who you are. Do you mind sharing your name?

Appreciated sir. There will always be haters man. I can guarantee I communicate with with more customers after hours, daily, than any other "supra specialty" shop does during their business hours. Lol. Me and John are a 2 man show and break our backs to go above and beyond. Most of the haters get upset we're moderators of a facebook group and is where 90% of the drama comes from (such as this) - When they dont realize, its not even more or John the majority of the time. Its other admins as well. Theyre simply enforcing the rules as I do. We arent the group owners. We dont make the rules and multiple other companies have the same authority as us.

So that means you're aware that the post was left up? Comments from people who have never had interactions or an experience with us were deleted. Not the thread or anything from the OP. Not going to have remarks from anyone who just doesnt like us in general there. If they were a previous / existing customer or had some type of interaction with us, it stayed. Because if they didnt, that means theyre generating an opinion for no reason as they simply dislike us for whatever reason they may have.

All good man. Best of luck to you.

Yes sir. Very much appreciated.

Eh, I had an initially good experience with Visconti but I’d never give them money again. :dunno:

I initially contacted Marshall for a tune and he told me if I was gonna buy it then they were running a special and I’d get 2 OTS tunes if I bought ecutek from them. I thought I didn’t really have the need for stage 2 tune cause you know at the time I was stock… Nevertheless, I thought it was a good way to ”future-proof” and I could redeem my stage 2 tune when I got a down pipe since the initial offer was not time limited. So I bought from him.

Everything went well. Got the stuff from them super quick. Was happy with the tune. Even wrote a review on this site. Sometime in the summer of 2020 I even got a tune update. More happiness here.

This being 2020 things got on the way and car modding did not take priority and I also got rear ended at some point so I didn’t get back to actually getting my downpipe sometime early in 2021. Once installed I still remembered the offer I got from Visconti during my initial purchase so I contacted Marshall to redeem.

It was a lot less responsive now (I figured, the sale was done soo). After, I think a ~month, I finally got my answer and that initial offer was time limited and I would be no longer getting my stage 2 tune unless I paid for it. They did offer a discount but I found dishonesty to be an issue so I passed. If it was told to me initially that the offer was time limited it would obviously be a different story but this was in fact not told to me and I view it as bait and switch to get a sale.

Was it malicious? Who knows. But I tell people to vote with their wallet so I won’t deal with them again.

So preface, I don't have any Visconti parts nor do I have any issues with them or their company. Merely as an outside observer in this situation it's still handled pretty poorly.

In regards to your first comment, most people don't have a return in mind when they purchase things. So it's reasonable to assume that the customer isn't influenced on whether or not an item is returnable or not in general when they make a purchase. Your logic implies that they need to be asking about your return policy up front or that you're telling it to them when they make a purchase.

Even if he found out his car had one already, even if he used it to do what it needed to do, even if he broke it in half, after you had agreed to return it, you should've returned it. It's just the right thing to do, IMO. And you did say yes initially!

Additionally, you really shouldn't expect customers to go to your website to check your policies if you're doing business off the site. It doesn't even matter at that point because legally they're not agreeing to any of those policies ON that site unless you have some offsite TOS/forms you're having them sign.

In the end it just comes down to choosing to do something if you wanted to, as mentioned before. You chose to not refund him. That's fine, just not a good look to others.

Again, no beef with you or the other guy. Just my observation on this one interaction with one of your customers. Hell, don't even listen to my thoughts as I don't have any of your products 😂. I think more people would be interested though if you were willing to stick to your word.

Couldn't have said it better even if I went to law school.

The pure smell of arrogance in their posts and responses alone has me completely turned off from giving them any business, sad given their relative proximity to me. IMO, anyone that needs to control information, regardless of outlet, is trying to prevent the embers from igniting the entire forest. If they had world class service for their customers, they wouldn’t be “wrongfully” accused of such egregious activity. My 40+ years on this earth has taught me that folks that play the victim or the blame game typically have something to hide.

I’ll throw my experience in here for transparency aswell. Never purchased anything from Marshall directly, although I have purchased Visconti items through other dealers. Marshall did the favor of giving the overview of my experience all summarized in one thread: https://www.supramkv.com/threads/ecu-unlock.13309/page-1

Since then I’ve been seeing lots more anti-visconti type threads pop up. They are good for the most part (from what I hear) but there are a somewhat large amount of people who have bad experiences for whatever reasons. It’s a great thing when a businesss can correct the mistakes that may take place with a customer. I hope Visconti makes an attempt of any sort..

Haha love seeing more of these posts.

Visconti and Marshall both tried to buy ECUs from me, then when I quoted them back their own prices for the ECU, they banned me from their facebook group, and started calling me names on the fourms and implying I'm mentally disabled.

I tried to speak the truth about the bFlash progress, and the various other unlock teams working to tune the supras, and again Visconti's team jumps in to berate me and call me stupid.

If your business is built on controlling a narative, and aggressive/shady practices I'm not at all surprised when everyone and their mom comes out of the woodwork to shit on them. They made their own bed here.

They admitted they told me wrong and still told me I was the problem and to basically kick rocks. No help or a return, had to sell item at a huge loss. 😢

This is why doing BM3 or MHD andnnot dealing with this bs is the best! Vendors like these, just the tone how they address customers, makes me weary. I’d be fuming if I were OP.

This is completely unrelated to the issue at bar. Ecutek is a tuning platform and has literally nothing to do with anyone mentioned in this thread. Information like this is confusing to people who are just getting started or don't know what the differences are between MHD/BM3/Ecutek/mgFlasher/WinOLS, etc.

None of these cars are MHD/BM3.
