So I was remembering correctly.Burbles change because it’s load/torque based if I recall correctly.
since the JB4 tricks the car into seeing lower load/torque to increase boost, it can mess with it
I’ll look into the tables at some point today to double check
The burble mapping uses these as inputs:
It's:
- RPM
- Speed
- Engine Load
- Coolant temp
- EGT Temp
The only time Engine load is reference is in the timing mapping. However, after 3,000 rpm all the load cells call for almost the same negative timing so I don't think much would change here with a JB4. Example:
