For Northeastern folks! After getting the PhD Racing build with JRZ Coilover and Spage Aero, we are officially doing:

Pittrace: 1:50:10 - Jackie Ding Driving, 275/40/18 Nankang CRS
Thompson: 1:17:70 - me driving, not very good, 275/35/18 RT660
Palmer CW: 1:45:85 - me driving, not very good, 275/35/18 RT660

We are still stock power, stock rotor with CSG pads, just with suspension and aero.

I started driving Lime Rock Park this year as it's my new home track. I told myself I would keep the stock 2020MY power, no aero, and 200tw tires until I could get under a sub 1 minute lap. My goal was to accomplish this before the year was over. I did this last week with multiple sub 60 sec laps and a best lap time of 0:59.72! This car continues to impress me. Plays with the big dogs with stock power. Had some fun battling with the Camaro ZL1 1LE in the video. Time for some winter upgrades!

I saw your 1:45 at Palmer CW, congrats!

I was surprised! Was aiming for sub 48s apparently underestimated it. With some fresh CRS 275/40/18 I think we'd pushing low 40s at Palmer with stock power.. pretty insane.

I like them. They're definitely fast but not sure if they're faster than the Nankang's or A052's though. Another thing I noticed compared to the V730's is they're less chatty and the grip lets go with much less warning.

Exactly the same dynamic between V730 and CR-S. CR-S are much less audible and let go with less warning. Kind of like the difference between street tires and r-compounds.


Still love the CR-S!

I finally got to visit VIR this year and improve my CMP PB. Didnt get out to as many tracks as I wanted but no bad offs and the car is still running means a successful year.
