You are just like @mokleen before. I had to get it thru to him that nature is a bitch sometimes. He almost did what you did too, buy a repainted replacement bumper cover til' i asked him "so what are you gonna do then when another rock chip happens..?"

now he rocks his chips proudly like i do. ?

one day i'll post up a clear photo of my front end to show you how much my car has been thru, my front end looks sand blasted. ??
Yep I've already come to this conclusion. Didn't take much convincing honestly.

My windscreen was already fucked up by 1,500 miles. I just shrugged my shoulders and moved on.

Toyota has paint pens in each color code.

Or, like others have said above, just drive the car and don't live in a bubble.

This image of my Supra will probably be triggering:

Mine looked like this after doing a couple sessions between races on a busy NASA weekend at NCM.

Rock chips are gonna happen. That's the nature of driving a car. You gotta learn to get over it because no car will ever be perfect, unless you just stop driving it completely.
This! Rock chips are inevitable, and unless your vehicle will be a garage queen….it’s gonna happen whether you like it or not. I take my MKIV out regularly and have already gotten a few bumper chips, but so what….extreme case, I repaint it in the future. The great thing about newer cars is their paint is “better” at absorbing small rock impact than older cars. Drive your car how you like, and worry less about rock chips…you will quickly realize those small imperfections don’t exist.

Yeah, it’s going to happen. I can imagine being frustrated if you planned on PPFing the front and now this requires extra prep, but if not, trying to prevent and touch up every rock chip is a recipe for unnecessary stress.

Highly recommend the ZL1 rock guards, though.
