This car needs somewhat lower viscosity to get in all the nooks and crannies (including main and rod?).
i disagree respectfully, this car needs the thickest oil you can find. If the oil is not thick enough to stop the rotation of the crank, it's not thick enough.

i use motul 5w-30 8100 ll04 for the summer and i switch to factory oil for the winter, i actually noticed a loud lifter rattle on cold starts in -2 and below temperature.

What's a good 0w30 ???
full synthetic castrol, valvoline, pennzoil, and mobil are all widely used in high stake racing sports. because it can maintain the viscoscity at wider range of temperature and don't breakdown as fast as the dino oil. They're major chemical companies that's been business for at least 100yrs.

I wouldn't spend extra money on boutique brands that's often advertised on here.

Bought 0W20 mobil 1 because it was on sale. Returned it because there was no indication it was C5 type and I overreacted to that. Ended up buying liqui moly 5w30 lol

Okay, now I feel better ❤‍?✌. Will be happy with my 0 or 5-30 that is in route to my house as we speak. And not too thick despite how schweaty my ass is in the seat. This car needs somewhat lower viscosity to get in all the nooks and crannies (including main and rod?).
Besides the nooks and crannies, it needs a fast flowing oil to get to the turbo quickly, also a thinner, faster flowing oil will help cool the turbo. How I understand it anyway ?

I went to grad school at St. John’s in NYC for one semester. Great school but I don’t know how y’all survive the winter ?. I transferred back to FL immediately ?

Oh yeah, this is an oil thread… I did notice on Speed Industry and others they list the liqui moly 5-30 as a Supra part when you select the car. And the place I got my oil from (some other thread) had it listed for the b58 engine. So I’m feeling pretty good about my purchase ?. I’m no longer young enough to track on 100 degree 100% humidity. But I like to think I’m going to do just that ?

FYI
LiqiMoly is no longer BMW LL01 certified
There's a VERY long oil thread on Bimmerpost and it performed about as bad as an oil could on a UOA report
A more common oil to find is Castrol Edge Euro formula 5W-30 that is BMW LL01 and Porsche A40/C40 (VW 511 00) certified

A heads up, LL-01 is not what is called for in the Supra. You're looking for LL-17FE+. I put a screen shot from the manual in this thread previously.
