I'm assuming these changes are applied to the protuner software side? And if so, does that mean we have til July to finalize our Ecutek tunes if we care about emissions-related items?

On a side note, will this mess with upgraded turbo tunes that disable a crank vent?

That was my first thought/concern. Terrible if so…. Kinda hard to get a state emissions check with the glowing amber Ford logo (chuckle).

HP Tuners went through this same thing a little while back. Their way around it was to also post a "beta" version of the software that was strictly for "testing only" and is not recommended to be used. The beta version just happened to have all the emission stuff still intact and working...

Or race only? I think that was also debated

Well this makes me regret going with ECUTEK, although it's not their fault. They have to do this to stay in business.

I'm still on the factory downpipe with my ECUTEK tune, but part of the reason I bought a 2020 was to be able to upgrade the turbo and defeat associated CELs.

Can I run a Pure800 on a catted dp without a CEL? I'm thinking no.

Yes you can. You will get a code for the crankcase ventilation delete but I don't think that triggers a CEL.
