you shouldn't have to check if the LCA is bent, just whether there's a witness mark on it from kissing the tie rod. for ex take a piece spaghetti from your pantry and press straight down on it length wise, it should be pretty hard to actually bend/crack. now if you apply the slightest of bend to it, it should crack very easily. so if you the lca was pressing down on it just a bit, while receiving lateral load, that would cause it to bend. the fact that yours bent straight down suggests that was the case.
the H&R bumpstops are probably softer and shorter than your oem ones. it's also possible the H&R's compressed spring length is shorter as well

My best run of the day. Feel free to give me all the pointers and critiques. Still new to this. ? Temperatures never got above 52 for the day but I kept my cars tire pressure at 30. Seemed to be good since the car didn't roll on to the side walls but I was making contact across the whole tread (used chalk to mark up my tires to see where contact was being made). Only issue I had is my back end kept wanting to kick out. So I felt like I was fighting it. I'm assuming because it was just cold out. But I appreciate the confirmation on the pressures everyone gave.

Had a slight close call with a worker haha. This is what I meant by the back end kept kicking out.

A good track alignment usually does the trick for me. Negative camber ofc, toe in in the back and slight toe out up front (the latter you won’t do until you become very comfortable on track). Also you have more “wiggle” room doing HPDE at a larger track. Whenever you apply the brakes you become front end loaded and the back end looses grip. Braking in a straight line or braking less when the wheel is turned will also help. So I’d slow down and brake less when the wheel is turned. When you feel that back end starting to come out, that is your sweet spot. You either have to turn the wheel less or brake less at that point.

You may be describing something totally different than the basic concept I’m describing. You were cooking pretty good in that short video and our cars build up speed so quickly. My hope is, it’s that simple :)

Are you still on stock tires and stock suspension? If so, thats just the way the car handles. I let a handful of people drive my car when it was bone stock and nearly every single person spun the car. Good tires and suspension go a very long ways.

For the camber adjustment, I need to buy some mods right? Since the supra doesn't have camber adjustability?

Yeah, I am. I'll upgrade once the tires are worn and then maybe do some suspension upgrades after this season. Any recommendations? I don't want to go too crazy and want to stay within the street prepared class for autocross. So I don't believe I can do coilovers. So I'll probably do lowering springs and maybe sway bars but the rear sway seems like a lot of work to upgrade lol. There's this Cusco under brace (https://www.a90shop.com/product-page/cusco-rear-chassis-powerbrace-supra) but I'm not sure if it's actually going to do anything. If it does, might do that first before the sway bar but need to do some research on it unless anyone has experience with it and can confirm.

I also heard that this front brace (https://www.a90shop.com/product-page/tanabe-strut-tower-bar-mkv-toyota-supra-a90-2020) seems to make a difference but also am wondering if anyone can confirm with experience?

Upgrading the tires to a quality 200tw tire is going to be the best way to start. Honestly, I didnt notice any difference when I did lowering springs. However, coilovers made a huge difference. I would do sway bars (if your class is ok with it) before springs. Skip on the braces and work on seat time.

Sounds like a plan, will do! I definitely plan on getting a lot of seat time this year.

Yes. Either adjustable control arms or camber plates for more negative camber. And fully agree with @Evolution. Skip the springs. If you could do sway bars easily, go for it. Tires will be your biggest upgrade and seat time. Enjoy!!

I'm so excited to see the difference brake upgrades, 200tw 275 squared tires, sway bars, and adjustable suspension bits make on the track!!
It’s definitely more communicative. I think you’re gonna love ? it!

Trying to talk my wife into letting me get one more track weekend in. PGD at the end of April in Sebring. I promised I’d be done until next October ? This Supra is like heroin. My addiction requires using her. She does very little for me just sitting in the garage…

Oh hey that's my kitchen. Lmaoo

Yeah it's not functional which is also partly why I got rid of it. Doesn't fit over my FI exhaust either. It's also the most flimsy plastic I've ever felt. No way that's functional. Lol. Looks great on a hard parked dar though!

@kaj or anyone else, any further thoughts on putting up a track times spreadsheet? A BMW buddy threw us Supras up on his group list. They do some time trial stuff. Would be fun to give it a go, push her even more, if I had the time. That was just one weekend at Sebring post Ohlins. I’m sure I can get both times down even further. The Garmin has some great suggestions now too ? Awesome tool for the money, imo.

@1slow_mk5 has the fastest times, btw. Need to put him up there.
