I for the first time took all traction control off for a session. Now kicking myself for not doing it sooner. Normally run with just 1 click off. Up until this track, it hasn't been an issue. But geeze, it seriously was killing the rear brakes. I could feel it kicking on the brakes every turn. They even started screaming at me mid session. All bad. All I have to say is that at the next event, all nannies are off from the go, like I used to do at auto-x events.

Also, fuel cut is real. 2nd time it's happened. 1st time was at 3 bars fuel, this time was 1/2 tank. Super long right hander. Keeping it at a full tank for each session from now on.

hey thanks for speaking this out. this is what I was looking for the car rotate during the turn which helps the front end turning. in the stock setting the car hardly rotate in an amateurs hand and thats what im struggling with.

Yeah, just get out there and have fun! The stuff these guys are doing take time more than anything else. Even in a perfectly setup car, it’s really up to the driver. A good alignment can do wonders. If you haven’t done that already. Eventually you’ll learn to keeping her from going over that fine line but driving very close to it. Learning your limits and how to correct it properly. If you turn both VSC and TC off be extra carful when powering out of a low speed (tight) corner with the wheel turned hard. She can get really loose then. With that being said, I‘d leave VSC on and only one click turning off TC.

Maybe the 2.0's come with better alignments or something. I remember my 3.0L stock wanted to kill me at any opportunity until I gave it a proper alignment.

I bought the Paco Motorsports Hubstands. Spendy, but worth every penny.

See below. At the very least a decent set of toe plates will work wonders.
If you have adjustable front/rear camber and want to DIY, you can get creative with a piece of flat iron and a magnetic angle finder.

I bought the Paco Motorsports Hubstands. Spendy, but worth every penny.

OEM specs according to service manual:

Front
Camber: -1.75* +/- 0.50*
Toe: 0.12" +/- 0.09"
Caster: 7.58* +/- 0.50*

Rear
Camber: -2.00* +/- 0.42*
Toe: 0.10" +/- 0.09"

Issue is, they rarely arrive with the alignment being correct.

I use the BG Racing alignment kit with a pair of QuickTrick turn plates

Nope, 6 port is fine too.

Although now that I look closer at it, looks like it does rub. About a 1/4" gap toward the bottom but not enough to where it won't rub. This is probably the rattle I hear every now and then.

Yes that is exactly where I saw it contact and I will pound it out and re-install.

I pounded it flat in that area with a rubber mallet and now have a good inch or more. It makes no sense to remove it from a functional stand point.

I'll do the same one of these days. Probably sooner than later haha. Need to get the resonator delete too.
