I use these for my rear pads - I special order them from Australia. They are indeed very good.

A popular shop here could maybe be a dealer soon…

In the meantime, Paragon has Supra pads in stock. Both Circo and Paragon pads are made by winmax Japan.

Paragon offers the equivalent of the W7 and W5 for track pads, along with a coupe different street/track pads.

Very good pads and fast shipping. I’d recommend R7 front and R5 rear for anyone who needs pads:

https://paragonbrakes.com/paragon-pbp1604-brake-pads

shipping is very fast for in stock items.
I have actually used these 2 seasons ago. almost as good as Mu

I tried Paragon R7 too. Not bad. But went back to my Hawk DTCs

Hawk DTC60/30s also on backorder for those interested.
I’ve found calling TireRack and Speed Industry was best price and availability.

Luckily lots of other places sell them also. So hit a few of those ☝ up. Mega popular pad. Someone is bound to have them in stock ?

Ssstttoooppp it ?

As for the tire wear conversation, I'm very happy with the wear on my CRS. This is them when I pulled them off after too many heat cycles. No complaints.
All four were even.

I believe you are on stock suspension too right? What are your alignment specs?

I'd suggest Project Mu Club Racers for the thousandth time but I've lost energy for it and... more pads for me to keep buying then. ;)
Having trouble finding them in-stock unfortunately. Evasive is backordered for 2-3 months.

Will post this up here in case you guys missed it in the other thread.

I have a set of rear DTC-30 that I can sell if any of you need them. Dont have/cant get the DTC-60 for the front cause like everyone is saying, they are out of stock.

Stock suspension but added camber plates (camber limited by strut spring contacting inner surface of the strut tower). Camber is maxed out to an unknown amount. Zero toe in the front.
Rear alignment is whatever came with the car when I bought it. I haven't even thought to use my toe plates yet. If I remember, I'll check it this weekend.

OK so sounds like I may run into same issue. I'll plan on maxing out what I can get with the stock struts/springs. Curious what you ended up with though.

I contacted a friend to see if I could order a GT4 Evo snorkel/air duct.

We chatted and I asked about what the new cooling package was, and I was kinda surprised. The evo gets rid of both factory auxiliary radiators, passenger side aux radiator is upgraded to a larger unit and the driver side gets an air to air condenser.

Why a condenser? They reverse engineered the factory AC system, the water cooled condenser has been reworked to a chiller. Pretty cool! (Pun intended)

Not as exciting… the evo also gets an air to air oil cooler added, and they kept the factory water cooled unit in place.

I’ll also be getting all the spring rates and sway bar sizing too, if anyone is interested.

Would be more interested in their rear diff solution please!
To get rid of the e-diff?

BMW introduced the first “e diff” back in 08ish. Teams would just go with a lsd of their choice and code out of the e-diff. I know the current generation e diff is a little more complicated (torque vectoring). I would recommend you talk to diffsonline.com, they have extensive knowledge in bmw differentials. They offer everything from basic to custom ramped lsd.

I can tell you from my experience if your car is going to be mainly track use, go with a custom ramp lsd… it’s a worlds difference. If you can spare the money, see if they have a drexler unit for your application.

i've been in contact with Dan, it's very pricy (6.6k) for a drexler setup, but i don't think they have a blocking plate for the GHAS motor.

and yes, mainly looking to add more aggressive lockup under throttle.

Yea, thats drexler for you.

A block off plate is a small hurdle I feel. I would be more concerned with how the factory electronics will react without a motor plugged in.

IF it can be coded out without any other errors is best case. Worse case current coding doesn’t bypass the new system. Could try to remove the drive gear that the motor hooks up to and leave the motor installed/operating.

I would ask Dan if he’s had anyone install a unit on factory electronics.

so far we haven't heard of anyone running an aftermarket diff in the mkv, hence the interest in the gt4 setup.

gt4 uses Marelli Motorsport electronics, so it’s not likely that it would be compatible but I’ll see what I can find out.
