Thanks! The calipers should be easier to look clean. I can't image how that would be if we had yellow or orange ones.
I’m lucky my wife is a clean fanatic. Otherwise mine would always have the track grime look. Poor thing… There’s some good threads on here on how to make her look showroom new 24/7.

I had a guy at a gas station in Homestead/Miami (near the track), come up to me and say he’s never seen one in person, loved it! Turns out, he works at a Toyota dealership ? Kid you not. Said his dealer has been waiting to get their hands on one for over a year. It’s pretty cool to own such a rare bird.

At the same time, don’t let that free track day slip by you (most do). NASA is a fantastic organization. They will make sure you and the car come home in one piece. You’ll never look at her the same way after you do ;) And maybe, just maybe, consider a louder exhaust. It sure does complete the experience imo.

My wife is okay with my vehicle-cleaning hobbies. I enjoy listening to music in the garage while doing so.

I would imagine that Toyota sends more Supras to higher over-all volume dealerships. I spoke to one Toyota salesman who told me they've (small family-owned dealership) received only three Supras over the last year and a half. The dealership from which I purchased my car is due to get a white 45th in a week or so. My Mikan Blast was there for only two days before I bought it.

I'll have to see how much a new helmet cost for the track event. That looks like it would be a blast! I have driven a McLaren 570S and Ferrari 488 GTB on the Exotics Racing track in Las Vegas, but that track is very small; it's straightaways are not long enough to build up very high speeds. A helmet was included. That was a fun morning.

My MX5 has a very large Magnaflow muffler on a custom routed exhaust configuration (which eliminated the 90 degree bend), so yes, I am a fan of good sound. An exhaust mod for the Supra is on my list.

Like some of you, I had watched 45th anniversary Supra review (no driving) videos on youtube, a while back. A couple of things on the Mikan Blast cars in the videos that were different on my Supra were the sideview mirrors (My mirrors have the carbon fiber look, whereas the video cars had flat black mirrors)

The other difference is the Supra badge on the back. The video Supra's had black or blue letters, whereas my badge letters are red. They don't have the same contrast on an orange car.

I wonder if there was a change, just before the US-bound Supras were shipped.

I can take a closer look at my car's spoiler and underside of the trunk lid when I get my car back from PPF work. It's not easy to tell from the photos.

CF mirror caps are a $925 option. Even the CF edition didn't get them as standard.

Is your 45th a manual? Manuals get the red Supra emblem on the back.

Who applies this, the factory or dealership? I didn't see any mention of it on the paperwork.
My car is an auto, since my MX5 has a 6-speed manual transmission. Traffic can make manually shifting an annoyance.

Mirrors are port installed afaik. Should be listed on the window sticker.

Weird that you have a red Supra emblem and auto. There is another Mikan Auto that posted earlier in this thread with the normal black emblem

The sticker shows (under optional equipment) the "Carbon Fiber Mirror Caps" as option "MI".
It also includes:
Exterior Emblem
First Aid Kit
Wheel Locks
Maybe the Exterior Emblem is the red-letter Supra badge.

If you enlarge this shot, you can see it.

Yup, like I said, CF mirror caps are an option.

Guess the emblem is now too. What is the price listed for it?
