I don't think I'll ever want more than 450whp on this car, since it's daily driven.

I once said I didn't want a built transmission, because I was okay with HP right around the OEM transmission torque limit.

...now I have a built trans in my car.

If your ecu is locked you're going to have to ship it to femto. However, if it's already unlocked you can bench unlock the ecu at any garage it if it was sent back to the dealership, and then go with BM3 or MHD.

Now back to your question. Well it all depends on your next steps. First of all get a catless downpipe it's a must. If at some point you will get a custom tune which I highly recommend then go for the ots map. Get a downpipe and go for stage 2 map. However, if your ecu is locked and you don't want to go through the hassle of unlocking it. Buy a JB4 with a downpipe with a Jesse tune.

As for the gains, it's not that different both should be around the same whp, but jesse's tune will be smoother as it is for your car specifically. and ots maps are for everyone.

To sum it up, if you will go for more power at some point go with an unlock. If not get a JB4 and a Jesse tune.

IMO If i was on jb4 I wouldnt go catless. I just wouldnt want to neglect the CEL on the dash. Ive had quite a few people have a serious issue that was masked by assuming its just the downpipe throwing the CEL.

DP is definitely going to get you another 10-15 hp. I just dont know if its worth it.

Not to mention a catless DP almost certainly requires custom tuning and not an OTS map. Never seen a catless car not overboost/throttle cut like crazy on OTS maps without WGDC tuning.

I have seen it in multiple cars I've worked on at JB4tech forums on m340s, AT supras, 330s, you name it. Generally doesnt cause any issues and the driver won't notice. You are right that MTs are 100x worse lol.

You can definitely tell from this angle the hood vent is crooked. I guess you can blame it on a track accident or something. Maybe coming out of a corner twisted the hood hinges because of the airflow was so intense.

Today is Thursday you have to add Friday to that because there's one more work day. 13 plus Friday is 14.
