Nah, there's lots of Toyota. The creaky interior plastic bits are mostly Toyota. The non-creaky interior plastic bits are mostly BMW.

I hope someone lets Toyota know about the creakiness! I'm sure they'll get right on it!

Right after they fix the wind buffeting and the "functional" fake vents; missing climate control sync and missing tachometer in the HUD.

Rumor is that the line manager responsible for the HUD balls-up was involved in a Tarantino-esque Seppuku incident at one of the Toyota's board meetings.

Unfortunate sure, but not without merit in my opinion.

I absolutely roasted Toyota on their survey for the Supra and my past GR86.

They have the worst sales distribution network I have ever been unfortunate enough to be in and I felt better afterwards lol.

They won't change. It's worked for this brand for decades and just like the MKIV, they do not care about getting these cars out.

How many different ways does it need to be stated that it isn’t made in Japan? Not one thing on the car is made by Toyota. Maybe the Toyota logo badges. Those are probably Magna Steyr too.

BMW and Magna Steyr.
The video makes it clear that Toyota standards apply in any country, not just Japan.

I spoke to the Supra-certified technician at the dealership. He told me that this is the first time over the past 4+ years that a Supra needs a new diff input shaft seal. So no, this was not from an overfilled diff. The good news is that I have a free-to-use top-of-the-line Crown hybrid. The parts are estimated to be in by 1-12-2024.

And by the way, my 2024 has no:
- creaking anywhere
- wind buffeting below 45 mph

I would fucking hope so, because I can have that seal in my hands on Friday
