I tried some other 18's, didn't fit. Deal breaker for me.What happen with the thread?
You’ll need the caliper/pads/rotors from one of the G8X M vehicles. I used parts from a wrecked M4 Comp. With the provided adapters the brake parts just bolt right up. One of the easiest mods I’ve ever done. You may want to buy new hardware from the dealer. I picked up a set of new G8X caliper mount studs as my brake parts didn’t come with them.Love this thread. For people like me, intending on keeping the factory 19s with spacers. Can someone please list what’s needed for the 380mm upgrade?

This was for Halloween. I dress the Supra up like a mustang leaving a car show.Dexter?
Did you do the rears as well? Any changs to the master cylinder? You’ll need the caliper/pads/rotors from one of the G8X M vehicles. I used parts from a wrecked M4 Comp. I haven't done anything with the rears. On the new G8X cars the rear brakes are basically the same as the Supra. Dinky little single piston calipers that are little more than a parking brake. I didn't change the master cylinder or do any programming either, just a brake part swap and a brake bleed. The only noticeable difference I've felt is maybe a slightly more touchy braking experience at really low speeds like rolling forward at a stop sign or into a parking spot. They definitely dissipate heat better though. In situations where I've expected to smell the brakes I haven't with this new setup. The stock M4C pads I'm using are dusty AF though.Did you do the rears as well? Any changs to the master cylinder?
How does the brake feel in comparison? And is there a need to program anything? ABS module etc...
That's actually not correct. The rear calipers and rotors are larger on the G8X. Rotors are 370mm vs our 345mm. (First post in this thread shows the differences)I haven't done anything with the rears. On the new G8X cars the rear brakes are basically the same as the Supra. Can you please explain more on the adapters. Did you use the adapters from the M4 or you bought other ones? You’ll need the caliper/pads/rotors from one of the G8X M vehicles. The adapters are made by S2Gizzle. They’re just machined pieces of aluminum that bolt to the Supra hub and accept the M calipers. Can you please explain more on the adapters. Did you use the adapters from the M4 or you bought other ones?![]()
