No real info other than that right now. I know the dealers had to all get a new scan tool and had to have a newer hoist that is capable of lifting the car as older hoists don't have the ability with where the lift points are. I know they will be shipped with spring spacers I assume because of ride height. I would guess there is other stuff the dealers will be required to purchase in order to sell them but they space out the announcements of what is required to lessen the blow.

259 are allocated currently looks like some east coast (VA,WV, PA, DE) dealers got theirs allocated. Just remember just because they are allocated first doesn't mean they will get thiers first. I'd bet dollars to doughnuts California dealers will get theirs first.

I managed to find somewhere here in Utah a couple weeks ago that let me buy a spot on their list and they are selling the cars at MSRP. He said they are currently allocated 9 cars, and I'm position 10 on the list, so I need someone to drop out to get one.

All of the other dealers I've contacted are going 10-15k over.

Today, I was informed that my black LE was on its way to US. The ship left on 5/28 and was scheduled to dock at NJ port on 6/12. I got the VIN and if my calculation and assumption were correct, my car would be number 1288. I sat with one of the sales managers and had all the accessories (trunk mat, net, PPF, first aid kit, etc.) deselected. Rough ETA is about 4-6 weeks. One thing I noticed is the VIN starts with WZ.

Furthermore, dealers can see in their Dealer Daily when there is an allocation coming. My dealer has only one allocation (my LE) so far and the VIN is not a temporary. I think the first annual allocation for GR Supra would be very low although it would be more than that for 200-series Land Cruiser.

I will be doing the PDI on the car myself and the car may go in for paint correction right away. I'm also going to try to keep the car on MSO/MCO, but I think I would be on the losing end.

Are you saying that ALL dealers can currently see their allocations? Or that the information is in the process of being rolled out to the various dealers?

Yes, Dealer Daily is an internal software which can show allocations of Toyota vehicles (one among other vast number of its capabilities). In my perspective, it's a major information pipeline/backbone between Toyota and the dealerships. Any Toyota dealer can refer to their Dealer Daily for upcoming allocation of, in this case, Supra.

Also for those that don't like the red mirrors on the LE, they have an option for carbon fiber mirror caps for $925. I am sure there are cheaper options out there but thought I'd pass that along. Looks like all are coming with the drivers assist package.

I hope so (about the DAP), since I was looking to get it on the car.

I also wonder how the CF looks, I can't recall seeing any pictures with it.
