looks pretty good, I recommend updating to V28+ firmware, but this is a good E blend for map 2. You will need a bit more ethanol to run anything higher
I’m willing to crank it up to another map and more E but like you mentioned I would need that FP I assume first.
Down the ??️ we go?

If you run a 7.xx on a JB4 I will be absolutely shocked. I think the guy that posted that video two years ago was full of shit tbh.

You have fp upgrade?
I would be shocked as well. No don’t have the FP upgrade. I guess that’s the next order of business.

I’m just watching and learning to see how far this JB4 can go.

I would be shocked as well. No don’t have the FP upgrade. I guess that’s the next order of business.

Mid 8s at best with the fp upgrade and E40

You can run a bit more E, just watch trims and try to keep under 45.

something like this would be an appropriate map 6 for no fp-upgrade.

and if an experienced jb4 tuner is saying the best one can do is mid 8s, trust him, not the clout

Yep and @Got_M can confirm MHD OTS E40 did ~8.7 right? Pretty impressive for the jb4 to match that in some cars.

Now JB4 + MHD backend flash on E50+meth in mid 7s lol

I've got one customer hitting low 8s on JB4+E45 but its thrown a couple codes here and there (his map)

so I don't push it quite that hard

I was only able to do a 8.35 with JB4+p800+JB4-PI on e+91. A half second faster is a good bit faster yet.

good to hear. I actually googled JB4 vs MHD and there’s not a lot of hard evidence separating the two other than those who have gone from JB4 to full unlock say it’s a big difference. However there’s not many or I haven’t seen many dyno or draggy comparisons other than the dyno short burger did on their E30 tune vs a MHD E40 tune.

I don’t have any “goals” for the car. Just a fun street car.

catless custom tune MHD E50 can run 7.3s

for added context, OTS MHD E40 and OTS BM3 E50 are pretty much bumper to bumper
