That being said, my brain is trying to understand the lighting conditions needed to produce such a bad photo.
I think I figured it out. he has a car parked really far at the end of the driveway with its headlights on. and then he's standing in the middle of the driveway taking the picture (that's why you can see his shadow). The cars themselves are really dim because the camera is focused and adjusting the exposure for the white walls - that's why the focus is sharper on the amazon box than say, the gr or bmw badges.

Will be interesting to see how much the M2 CS (or even better no CS) with the track package will weigh and cost. I‘d seriously consider one if they make the track pack w/out the bling wheels & carbon fiber - low bang for the track buck goodies.

track package needs to be available on blue car with manual transmission to even be up for consideration. Knowing how much BMW loves the carbon seats in the M2. I suspect you will be stuck with the carbon package, but lets hope not.

If it loses 550lbs I'd buy one.

For the weight and price, I'd rather get a lightly used M4 X-Drive to be honest.

Then again I don't do any track activities, and I live in a state with nothing but straight, boring roads, so what benefits the M2 would have in handling and cornering don't apply as much to me as others.

Wouldn't move to either from the Supra unless I desperately needed back seats and more comfort, though.

I had the M2 thought in the spring…went and saw one locally at a dealer. Looks like absolute shit in person. I didn’t mind the M3, but the M2 is hideous. Not worth it for the extra power…the added weight makes it even easier to say no.

I dunno, I kind of like the boxy flares - reminds me of the original M3.

I dunno, that hi-res photo really peeks my imagination.

The looks grew on me personally; but only in dark colors (black especially) and lowered with a decent lip and a spoiler.

That being said, the fact that I feel I would need to do all of that to make it a car I like to look at means it's not really a car for me.

Just looked at a few in black....and I agree. You would need that dark color to hide how hideous it is

Trying to spare you the pain of seeing this monstrosity

yeah brighter colors look terrible on this car.

At the very least the lower section of the bottom grille should be depth-matched and color-matched to the front bumper instead of indented and black, that would help a lot I think.

Not a Corvette.
I talked a lot of shit about the G series M2 when it came out but it's starting to grow on me.

Getting basically 700whp with just a tune, E40 fuel, and NO part changes (still with all four OEM cats) is hard to deny as well.

I don't know, I don't think it looks nearly as bad as you guys make it sound like. I realize looks and preferences are purely subjective. However many guys think the R-34 GTR looks great and if that's the case I'm not sure how one could say the M2 is hideous in the same breath. I'm not saying they look the same but there are design parallels that are quite similiar for both of them. I quite enjoy the box look as being something different. Of course the 3.2 zero to sixty and just under 500 ft/lb of torque help (as a starting point without a tune)

I don't think it's beautiful but I don't think it's ugly either, it's very Thuggish or menancing is what I think. And that has a level of road presence in of itself. It's like German Muscle Car and the looks of a German Muscle Car I would take over the looks of the average American Muscle Car.

Anyways my Garage is going to be MKIV Supra, MKV Supra, G87 M2CS let's just simlpy see what I end up driving the most for the next year. But hoesntly who drives a car for how it looks? I drive a car for how it drives and my gut tells me the M2 CS drives better then the Supra MKV LE. I know one thing for sure visibility in the Supra MKV is the worst among the cars I own, even the Supra MKIV has better visibility in it as compared to the Supra MKV as it has nasty blindspots and a crazy wide A Pillar.

You're saying this is Hiedous? I don't think it's nearly as bad as you're making it out to be.
