Yer thanks for clarifying, i clearly misunderstood.

Then back to my original point - i live in a significantly hotter climate than most (and track the car very frequently), so i'll take any cooling mods i can get my hands on
Same. I bought into a lot of those cheaper cooling mods in the beginning, when I probably should have just waited for the car to possibly code on track. But I‘m with ya. Who knows man 🤷‍♂️. Hindsight is always 20/20. Now that the Supra GT4 EVO2 is out, I would follow whatever they’ve done for cooling, the best you (we) can. That upgraded manifold you got will likely be your biggest friend in the extreme heat.

Good points man

I've got the methanol kit installed now as well and that should be nice.

Where/how can we even learn what the GT4 EVO2 cooling setup looks like?

There are some photos floating around. I know for the diff they run an external oil cooler mounted underneath the car near the driver side wheel well with an external pump ofc.
They have had that since the inception of the GT4 Supra.

The additional cooling on the Evo2 is an inline "chillcooler" in the charge pipe:

These bolts that hold the diff to the bushing. I saw a guy snapped them, but arp makes these bolts that are a bit stronger. Waiting on these, but im not to worried since i now have the diff brace on

Are these bolts because using the brace adds stress to the bolts or just in general?

How does bracing the diff to the subframe compare to the chassis brace to the diff like the z4? (If I understand the new supra brace change.) What potential downsides and considerations for bracing the diff to the subframe?

Appreciate everyone’s input and comments here and elsewhere in the forum.
🙂🙏

One's a chassis brace for body flex considerations and doesn't involve the diff and the ones being discussed here are for bracing the diff itself.
Not sure why you'd want to install a diff brace on a road car. It won't make any difference to the way the car handles or traction or wheel hop. It will probably improve the life of the tail shaft Guibo at the expense of NVH I guess.

Z4 bracing does zero to brace the diff. It's the battery box to another part of the chassis.

At this point we all get that any modification to a street car is basically tapping on your chastity belt and triggering your anglo-saxon christian beliefs of what is right and wrong.

How about for the people that bought a car because it responds well to modifications you just leave alone and pretend they don't exist, just like we believe that the temptation of christ is a fairy tale. Our world would be better off.

Didn't experience any NVH increase at all. Can't speak to the other kits, just for the one i have on (BMR)

Does anyone have Rwense website for the difference brace? I remember there is another gentleman with 3D printed brake duct/brake rotor dust shield (not Verus nor SPEED engineering)
Oh hi!

Its www.rapiddesigns.us

Just a note, i have a printed prototype im fitting up currently. Ive already talked with a suspension manufacturer who has interest in producing it but we'll see. I might use JLCCNC to make a prototype or 2/3 and send them out for testing.

OK you got me really interested in @rwense setup!
How long do we wait :(
Uhhh, idk. I might be able to get a prototype made and tested by the end of the year, probably Oct or so. Production? Who knows really, sorry

Nice! Looking forward to it. I’d be down to test (will pay if needed) if you need volunteers. ‘23 MT.

No these bolts are the ones holding the diff. This is why i went with a brace and arp bolts because this guy broke his diff bolts with 20k miles stock
