Coming back to the forums after a while. Have some things I wanted to discuss. Cars been out for almost 7 years. Who's had one from around release? Anyone trade up as new updates happened? Top 10 things you did to your supra and things you still hope will be released in the after market. Did the car live up to the hype by the end of its run? What issues still exist in the final year?

Would have been nice to see a Targa model come out. Aside from that I think the car was an all-round hit.

The massive influx of stupid kids that are able to buy the car and not having the ability to use the search function on the forums is still an issue that persists on this platform.
Ive noticed. Just scrolling through the forum some easy answer questions asked multiple times.

Targa would have been nice. Wonder where'd they fine space for the roof though. Trunk doesnt seem wide enough.

Will only progressively worsen as used prices allow this car to be more attainable.

To answer OP's question. Car is fine, no issues with it mechanically or from my initial expectation till now.

I've tracked almost every car I have owned and the Supra has by far, BY FAR, been the most reliable track car I have owned. Any failures have been my doing, either aftermarket or the trans slipping from having too much power.
No major engine failures? I dont track often so never pushing it that far. But stock engine as "bulletproof" as the 2jz. Or is that still on another level?

Not yet, over 70 events, 80% at 550whp+. Pretty sure it's a "when" moment, but that would be true for any car that gets tracked this often at more than 2x the OEM power level.
