I understand. Pls dont be auto only.... If it went bad way... there is a 2.0 Supra that can be tuned easily to 300hp with around 1400kg weight... or option B, I get latest possible 1st gen LCI GT86 and tune the hell out of it....I was asked to not discuss it further after getting the updated info, so I'll have to at least wait until some of it leaks elsewhere. Just like anything else, you remove those that made something awesome and it can go several different ways, one of which being badly lol
Tada has been asked that question for months by various people and the answer has been relatively the same. You didn't ask about a manual transmission option?
Thats really the only thing to ask at this point..
Don't wanna go too detail, but are they serious? Cuz they must be on crack or trolling the fans here... if things I've heard is true.
Thanks guys. Any info is something at this point since it's a ways out. Ultimately, I got to wait it out anyways, thankfully we live in a world with options. I'll start looking at a plan B if the next gen 86 isn't what we expect it to be.I was asked to not discuss it further after getting the updated info, so I'll have to at least wait until some of it leaks elsewhere. I was almost set on new 86, super hyped. It just died Even sharper version of the current car with better interior and new exterior, bit more NM/hp while still being N/A and manual.... Shame Tada is not involved, that may be the problem...Thanks guys. Any info is something at this point since it's a ways out. What do you like about the Cusco braces? I wouldn't expect much of a noticeable difference on the street, though maybe the added stiffness could translate to a more responsive turn-in. I think the issues would arise when pushed harder than you're hopefully doing on the street. It seems he has said using the front strut supports will cause understeer and oversteer. I got the Cusco and like it a lot (front), and would like to hear from anyone else that has the Cusco, as I know they are out there because the sites that carry these are sold out.
Well no info from Toyota has been publicly released yet, so there's a bit of hope left lol. Sometimes our expectations are higher than what Toyota is willing to do.I was almost set on new 86, super hyped. Eh so either last year 1st gen or maybe some 981 Cayman....
More responsive and yes, I am not pushing hard on the street, that would be stupid on my part but for the feel of it, I like it.What do you like about the Cusco braces? Eh, if Tada is not involved its belivable. + A70TTR infos are usually quite good, aint they?Well no info from Toyota has been publicly released yet, so there's a bit of hope left lol. Sometimes our expectations are higher than what Toyota is willing to do.
@bigcatOne thing I'm very curious is about the ZF transmission, we knew the max torque of 8HP51 is 500Nm(369lb-ft) by spec, compare to the horse power enhancement of A91, torque is almost untouched, does it mean Toyota thinks there is no way to improve for 8HP51?
