So what about adoption? People can adopt children that have different genes than them, but raise the child as their own. They can instill their values, morals and education (drawing the comparison to the tuning and characteristics of a car). Can they not consider their adopted child their own?This is gonna get a little heavy....it's like if you were infertile and you gave your wife to your friend to make a baby for you. Is there no shame in that? If you cannot do it on your own, maybe it is better to be without. Especially from an Asian company/culture where pedigree is so important, "adoption" just does the Supra nameplate no justice. Perhaps the Supra nameplate is not so sacred or Toyota just doesn't give a shit about the Supra name anymore. Maybe it was desperation.
I wonder how much more or less successful this car would be if the name wasn't Supra.
