DESCRIPTION
The Injen SES2300ICP Intercooler pipes are the next logical step in your search for power gains for your new Toyota GR Supra and BMW Z4 (M40i) equipped with the B58 L6-3.0L Turbo engine. This easy to install performance charge pipe system allows that turbocharged engine to breathe deeper to unleash that additional performance that you’ve been craving. These charge pipes pair perfectly with our cold air intake systems for even greater performance gains!

The Injen Technology engineers spent abundant amounts of time designing, testing, and perfecting this performance intercooler charge pipe system to develop some serious bolt-on power. The soul of this charge pipe system is with our mandrel-bent, over-sized 2.75” T6-6061 aluminum tube that provides a smooth uninterrupted path for highly efficient airflow and a look that will impress every time you open your hood! The engineering team also developed precision CNC machined adapter flanges that mimic the OE-Style connections for a simple install.

Every tuner I’ve spoken with says that intakes and charge pipes aren’t doing much if anything on tuned supras under 550-600whp..... With that in mind, Injens claimed numbers on a stock car are interesting... I have yet to see anyone else’s runs come up with more power than torque on the baseline run.... The Injen parts on my evo were the first thing that had to be replaced for a better flowing option when tuning so unfortunately I won’t be going with them again this round.

That’s definitely a more reasonable number than what Injen is claiming. Their whole graph kind of seems off though.... I’ve never seen one of these cars (atleast on stock turbo) show more power than torque. Have you?


Looking at it a 2nd time, the HP numbers they show don’t even match what the graph shows? Seems like Injen might be fudging some numbers. Idk... I’ll stick with the HKS for now

I think you need to view it a 3rd time...Look closer, the left and right vertical axis are not "scaled" the same and the left y axis is "power" and right y axis is "torque"...The indicated power and torque values on the plot are reading correctly...

I’m still not convinced that the claimed gains are legit. No way Injen makes a better flowing intake than the likes of Eventuri, AMS, etc.

I’m still not convinced that the claimed gains are legit. No way Injen makes a better flowing intake than the likes of Eventuri, AMS, etc.
No worries...from time to time various tuners and shops choose not to sync the left and right vertical axis.....

I'm always skeptical on any power claims when it comes to intakes regardless of who it is! That said, Injen is a solid standup company and has been at this game as long as the others mentioned....

By altering intake airflow, emissions can change. It is easier to exempt everything. A large, ugly, and expensive can of worms gets opened by allowing exceptions if emissions compliance is to be enforced equally.

I am not saying I agree with it all, but I do understand the logic and why California has moved in this direction.

For the hp, it all looks to happen down low, not up top. That's quite nice. A decent amount more torque down low too. Someone should Dyno this intake themselves to see if numbers down low are similar.

I am not saying I agree with it all, but I do understand the logic and why California has moved in this direction.
I get that but increased air flow should actually improve emissions. I suspect they simply don't want the hassle for certification. In states like mine, therefore, we're precluded from installing things like catless DPs and air intake systems as they may cause a car to fail the smog test. Bummer.
