This would be interesting but it seems weird they would only do it for the last 2 or 3 years of production

interviews with the head of the program said to expect changes every year with some years bringing more performance. time will tell but it would not surprise me if they offered a manual the last couple years to keep sales going. Especially with the Z offering a manual, a manual in the Supra would definitely keep interest going with the car.

I have a feeling it'll happen. The question we should be asking is why wouldn't they? The testing and engineering was done years ago. They know damn well they'll sell every one they build, so why not use it as a production run-ending swan song? They could easily command a premium, and they'll still come out well ahead of whatever it cost them to develop.

honestly I feel the same way. I would love the S58 with a DCT but the ZF is solid.
