Hello,

I saw this car on Instagram equipped with a Pure900 & DI only setup claiming 690whp on 93 octane. Setup and pictures attached.

I'm not doubting the claims nor supporting it, but I am genuinely curious - is this actually possible safely or not? Thank you in advance for any inputs.

This is like an auto car doing 640-650. Perfectly doable with a larger turbo.

I may be doing something similar very shortly.

I have a Remnant 65 omega kit on the way. DI with the HPFP and S58 injectors has been proven to be able to hit 700whp so not surprised. Not sure about 800+ tho. Would likely need lpfp and more pump but maybe not depending on fuel. Dyno might read a bit high too...

I suspect it's a combination of a happy dyno and a yolo tune tbh. I have all those mods + more with an upgraded LPFP, Intake manifold and Omega 65 turbo. Gonna do a hub dyno run on April 23rd and see if i can get close to 620-630ish on 94 octane. This hub dyno reads 7% low.

Not a Corvette.
I don't think it makes that much of a difference. Let's assume the mt car has 15% loss at 690 whp. a 50whp difference would mean the Auto car has 21% loss.

Seems like a stretch.
It's not, the ZF doesn't lose that much compared to grandpa's auto.

It's not.

Mt cars dyno 25-30hp over autos stock. Now double the power. 50hp is right.

Dyno is a tuning tool. No reason to get wrapped up in the #s of a different car.

Already seeing people asking about this kind of tune, not even realizing it's a hero run on a generous dyno on a kill map. sigh. Influencer culture is a plague upon us all.
ALL MAPS ARE KILL MAPS!!!

...unless it's a flame tune.
