Big turbo (G30-770), Nitrous out the whole and slicksI just came across this article/video. It's not clear how much horsepower and torque this guy's MKV is pushing (I skipped the 370Z section of the video and went straight to the MKV section so maybe he said something I missed) but this is curious to me: just how strong are the MKV's rear axles and just how strong is its stock rear differential?
Even the 200mm MKIV diff and TT Automatic axles are known to be very stout out of the box aside from the limitations of the stock open diff and stock Torsen T-1 diff.
He says he replaced the rear axles with stronger ones on his MKV prior to his diff blowing out. Perhaps the diff casing itself is plenty strong but it's the differential itself that needs to be changed out for an aftermarket clutch type unit?

This second video only discusses the MKV's rear diff failure (following his drag launch under who knows how much boost) for the first five minutes.
Headlight is easy. There is a sensor that clips into the driver's side control arm and is probably knocked out from them strapping it down.Tried to do a dyno run today with a friend
2 different Supra's followed video instructions
Car does not hold gear, multiple codes after..
Tried clearing and kept getting chassis error back on both cars after a short drive
Disconnected battery and code went away
Now headlight is out of alignment
Sensor is in place.. Even unplugged it and plugged back again. Still pointing upwardsHeadlight is easy. There is a sensor that clips into the driver's side control arm and is probably knocked out from them strapping it down.
Are you not putting the car in manual mode on the dyno? Are you in dyno mode when on the dyno?

Parts ordered from Japan??!! Toyota part located?Guys.. Part is not available and needs to be ordered from Japan
Both cars have the same exact sensor broken
Just a heads up for anyone willing to dyno at a shop not familiar with the car
Chassis error code, headlights alignment issues and very stiff suspension
Checked with a supplier from the US and was informed its not showing in US dealers inventory tooParts ordered from Japan??!! Toyota part located?
