I just noticed that. Seems they "magically" found 2k in savings. Seems shifty don't ya think?
You seem to be trending the same insults on both threads of mine.

The difference is that we're performing the service through a different process than before which allows us to cut costs. Havent heard of many people complain about savings?

Well now that Visconti lowered his price back to earth, I wonder is @Jesse DaBears @ PPE will stay in the battle. @Marshall@ViscontiTuning also told me that how ecu will come ecutek ready, no need for the 400$ standard bench flash!
I'm sure they still have wiggle room. You can buy a new engine dme from the dealer for 1200. So im sure if you have connections you can get it under 1k each. Plus most people know how the bench unlock works because of kies motorsports. I'm sure tuners will start waiving unlock fees if you make them your tuners or something along those lines while lowering the price of the service.

Bump - Everyone is tunable. A little over a year and its now possible. $2995 gets you a tunable car.
So. Since we’d now have our original/locked ECU and a second, unlocked ECU…would this be a way to “go back to stock” if warranty work was needed? Just change out ECUs?

So please explain to us this new process that is now saving you $2k. I’m also very intrigued that you would be passing on a nice $2k profit along to the consumers or maybe you’re competitor simply exposed you. ??‍♂

It’s called open economy. A price is set with high profit margins. Then a competitor undercuts price to take business with less profit. Back and fourth it goes. It’s not “exposing” anything

I'm wondering if DaBears is going to counter this move. I hope so, but I will probably go with whoever is cheaper, since the end result is the same.

The case and point you’re making everyone understands but in Visconti’s defense they have a new process. Hence, $2k cheaper! Sketchy to me

Explain to us why a business must explain their inner-workings on the internet for some random person who probably won't buy anything from them anyway?

At the end of the day does it matter why they changed their model/price? I mean it's cheaper and we have competition from multiple vendors.

I agree. When was the last time we asked McDonalds why the damn patty is smaller, but the price went up $1.36?

I think it's a "feeling out" period. Throw the process and price out there and see how it's received. No one bites? Revisit process and/or price. Rinse and repeat until you have a point everyone is content with.

You’re right I won’t be buying from a vendor that is price gouging the consumers knowing very well that all these 2021 guys is needing a tunable solution.

What you do with your property is up to you :)

Thats not something we're interested in sharing just to assist the competition in learning new methods. Because of something we learned/discovered, we were able to cut the pricing significantly. Thats all there is to it.

Our price cut didnt effect our profit margins at all. Because we didn't just cut the price. We literally found a new process. Seems a lot of folks just having a tough time believing that since it was within a week. - Shoutout to the competitor for lighting a fire under our tooshie and getting minimal sleep last week. Lol.
