The next excuse on the Z pages, "the 2nd gear grind shows personality, character, the car talks to you"
TYPICAL supramkv.com user response. You people are exhausting.

The Z was never meant to shift into second gear. It's always been a purist's first-gear car. That *JDM* heritage (maybe you've heard of it???) goes back to the original 1914 Kwaishinsha DAT and its FIXED RATIO. And did we hear you complaining about second gear back then? No!

Have any new Z’s been delivered in the States yet? I wasn’t sure of the true release date.

A search on autotrader gets a few hits....and I think people have began receiving cars already.

Hopefully that markup from the dealer is so they can keep it on the floor to show people. That markup is insanity.

Geez poor Z guys who were hoping to get one for 40k.....OUCH.

A dealership in Cocoa got one, and supposedly they have a 50k ADM because the GM doesn't want to actually sell it but just keep it in the showroom.

Markups like that are cool with me..because peeps get to check out the car...and if someone is so desperate to pay double.......well then.....Can anyone blame them for selling it?

Personally, I think it's just a way around getting heat for having a 50k ADM. If you just wanted it to sit in the showroom so people could see it, then why not just say 'not for sale.' This way when someone does pay 50k, they can act like they're doing the person a favor and that they weren't just greedy.
