All 45th Anniv owners:
Do you have this label on the driver's side door jam?

Also, side view in my driveway

one thing that was VERY disappointing me to. yes our cars are 1 of 900 ever produced. Why not number them individually ?

When will you Americans realize that all these "special editions" aren't actually all that special: Unless you consider a few minimal cosmetic changes; a matching cost increase and some marketing.

Maybe this is why the 45th edition comes with a generic plaque.. just like all the other "special editions."

Because they don't come off the line in order and wouldnt tie to the VIN. They just sprinkle them in. The 45th anni seemed like the only special edition that came out in a huge batch. Previous special editions like launch edition vin doesn't event state launch edition. Only later years did they start to state the special edition like the cf edition. It's all a gimmic for the US market. And orange is a regular color in other markets and that would also screw with vin and numbering.

The plaque is one of the most special parts. I’m just happy the 23@ 24s have a special strut bar which is kind of a mechanical difference. I wish they had kept the tan interior exclusive

Didn't Lotus number-tag all their cars? Or maybe that was Acura's NSX?

I came from a 981 GT4. my car was one of less then 2400 ever made a truly limited production car. I didn't buy it for the plaque. mainly the rear wing and white and 6 speed. I'm really not a fan of the stripe on the side of the car

The Mikan Blast color is unique to Supras sold in the US. The adjustable spoiler is also unique to the 45th editions. Those are two of the reasons why I bought it. The other add-ons are icing on the cake, so to speak.
Often, people of my age, knowing that the day will come fairly quickly when driving a low sportscar may not be possible, buy what they want, rather than what is the best deal.

Today, I took my car to a few different stores. At the first one, in a sea of empty parking spaces, a person driving a Tesla Model S parked right next to my car. Later, at a different but nonetheless huge parking lot with 80% empty spaces, a saw a guy park his Porsche Panamera in a space next to my car, with his driver's door next to it.

Years ago, I would've sworn not to take a new sportscar out to a store. Today, I thought, "Well, I think I'd rather drive as often as I can, than to wonder why people do things like this." :D

I forgot to add the smiley face to my previous comment. Of course, I knew you were joking. Believe me I am not a Corvette defender of the universe. I've gotten punished enough over the years!

This just in: A not-so-uncommon post in the Corvette C8 forum:
Hello,
I've tried searching around and not sure if I'm being too specific on my inputs. I've had my '23 Z51 since August. Put about 2300 miles on her mostly from driving home to SWFL from NCM. I got a check engine for emissions about 5wks ago. Took to dealer on the 26th of October and it was found to be the module on the exhaust to open/close the valve. They replaced that and then they told me the new one will not communicate with the Fuel Control Module. They have ordered a new one of those and we are still waiting as it is on back order. I haven't had my car for over 4wks now and not sure if they are right or lazy and the tech missed something. Does this make any sense?
