Novice Q: is the 3pm dial which equates to 4psi stock the same as jb4 map 2? Since both are about 4psi over stock?

I asked burger tuning a few questions before I purchase this and will post their answers when they reply.

However has anyone run this on a dyno to see what it actually makes? At sub $250 doubt someone would splurge on a dyno run costing about the same but it is interesting.

I'd imagine on the 3pm dial and a stock 21+ model anywhere from 410whp to 420 max settings.

This is from Burger's website on a Gen 1 B58:

Expect 35 whp over stock when running the JB at ~4.0 psi. I'm assuming BMS wouldn't max the JB+ out on 91 oct.

I personally found the JB+ to be much smoother and nearly as fast when the dial is set to 80% ish.

Stock 2023s dyno around 380-390whp so @Syeeee is probably right about 420whp with JB+.

No issues at all no codes no limp mode.
I have an intake and JB+ and I got limp mode and a check engine light while doing 120mph runs up to the top of 4th. It was very hot out 95+ and I had been on the road for a bit. The code said something along the lines of boost exceeded. I pulled over and got lunch but the code and limp was still there. I unhooked the JB+ and reset the code via BimmerLink and all was fine. I have driven 3-400 miles since with no issues. Miss the extra pop but still unsure if it was bad gas or heat soak. I might not hook it back up until the fall.

I'm using max level with Petro 94. No issues. Pulls really nice. Last year I ran it at the track on default settings. I'll be installing the AA catted DP later this month too. As I mentally and financially prepare myself to send the ECU out to Femto towards the end of the summer, lol

EDIT: Running it on my 2021 6 port. Not sure of the difference in gains Vs 2 port.
Have you installed the AA DP ??? If so how do you like the JB+ with DP and issues ??

Did you have a DP when this happened??

Any issues with Limp mode or Codes???
No limp mode or codes running mine with catless. I will say that I'm upgrading to JB4 this week since I don't like the partial-throttle surging of the JB+.

I have done faster pulls than that at similar temps with no issue. Maybe I would recommend running JB+ at 3 o clock position (or lower on 91). When temps are really high, your car will request higher boost to meet load targets. With the ~4+ psi stacked on top, it can exceed factory safety limits more easily.

The what now?
The power delivery in the JB+ is too surgey. Ie: it feels like the extra boost is surging on and off in the mid range revs. It's getting on my nerves so I bought a JB4 to datalog the issue.
