Almost 64 LBS, its a chunker for sure. 😂

Its makes a big difference once you ditch it.

Can you tell me where you purchased this battery? Auto parts store? Do you need to register it the same way as a stock battery? Will Bimmercode work for this type batter, like for stock?

Thanks!! I'm having same issues as the other guys on this thread

You should code the battery capacity and type though, and register it so the car knows it's new. I dunno if it's really good for the car to think you have a 105 Ah battery when you installed a 60 Ah one

I got mine from Extreme Power House but it seems they’re scarce right now.

I would try FCP Euro and see if they have any in stock.

I have an antigravity battery too. You don't need to program it or anything. Just plop it in.

It's not cheap though. Something like 900 bucks.
@zrk what did you use to secure it on the left side? I had to dig out a bracket from my toolbox since the stock one didn’t reach.

anti gravity batter comes with a bracket.
Mine didn’t come with a bracket. That’s a spare bracket from my tool box. The OEM bracket was stubby and couldn’t secure the new battery.

@baagel I found another spare bracket in my toolbox. If you still need one let me know I will gift it to you.

I'll be alright, I have an H7 size battery and managed to squeeze the OEM bracket in enough to secure it. Thanks though!

Replacing mine today. What about the little hose thing that goes into the stock battery on the right side? I'm not seeing a hole to put it in on the AG.

I swear to Christ the next time I do this it's going to be with a car built in the 90's...

That's a vent tube for AGM batteries in case of malfunction. The chemistry of lithium ion batteries does not require that. You can safely tuck it away.
