Except that's exactly what happened. bFlash updated their software, I reached out and asked if they are working on the BMWs next, and they even implied it right in their public webpost:

This was also double checked with my local dealer when they reached out and were told the same information. You keep insulting me as if I didn't do my homework.

Why do I need to control information? I'm simply telling people you are full of bs, spreading infomation that's not correct. Just like how you're selling ECUs you found on ebay and whacking people over the head while telling them about all the savings.

I struggle with this as I've never mislead anyone. In fact I just quoted your pricing structure and your justifications anytime someone asked why I was charging so much for ECUs I pulled myself from a junkyard. You continue to bring this up in effort to obfuscate the fact that you cannot find anymore ECUs for cloning, and were consistantly attacking me across platforms just because I took advantage of that. I think the market agreed with me on the pricing since I've only got one remaining.

People are still going to come to me for the service. Maybe you underestimate what I actually do for this community and how many people/shops actually rely on me for my services.

And I also underestimated exactly how much you try and keep a tight grip on the community and those you do business with. The more I have spoken up about the way you and your team have been targeting me, the more others have come forward to speak about similar behavior and actions you commited agianst them. I wish nothing but the best for you and the people that rely on you, but in the end if you and your team think it's acceptable to run around acting like this then I really believe you won't be relied on for long.

I think your last sentances here are really telling. When pressed about your attitude and actions you just beat your chest and chant how much we "need" you. It's pathetic and shows you care more about the short term profits from your iron grip on these services than you do for your reputation.

I'd say its best to stay cautiously optimistic. Happy that there are several players in the game.

The press release doesn't explicitly say anything about BMW nor does it provide any dates; I wouldn't start inferring anything just yet. We all saw what happened with the "Z = Supra killer" hype from Youtubers, when Nissan barely ever mentioned the Supra themselves.

I'm basically treating it as "the company is working on ECU unlocks, one of which could be for BMW ECUs. However, there is no timeline for any of it."

All this thread has shown is the desperate need for us to have multiple choices in getting our DME's unlocked. Thankfully I'm patient, and can wait to go with the best option when it becomes available.

It's a shame because it's just unnecessary. Nobody was attacking them from this community, just providing info and alternatives, perhaps a suggestion their pricing might be a tad high. But if they believe the service they provide makes that price defensible that's fine.

The way they act though, lol. Imagine if something went wrong, I wouldn't trust them at all from what we see here on this forum. Maybe to claim the customer was the problem.

Frankly I don't even see them providing anything useful to the community here other than advertising themselves. So they sponsor the forum a bit... So do a bunch of other contributors who post lots of useful info ?. Inb4 I get raged at too ?
