For a daily driver - sure an AWD is nice in the northern climates, but not something I would want in a sports car - most AWD cars understeer and that is not really something I am looking for in a sports car.
GTR isn’t a sports car and many others that are AWD? I know what you mean but AWD is switchable and you can go RWD with a button press

yeah but G8x are looking super hot now
For sure! It's subjective and is about what you want. Personally, I'd take the Supra any day because it's a solid platform and a fun car to build.

I will say this.... The AWD G82 is pretty ridiculous on track. I am modified and around a tighter circuit a G82 just clawed it's way out of corners. It was on the power notably earlier than I could manage exiting most corners. Probably not as fun to take around the track but stock for stock it'll easily take a Supra.

Yeah, it's hard to beat AWD for laying down the power out of corners. Slow corners especially. I felt this driving a buddy's WRX STi on 200tw tires during a track day at Putnam Park. Clawing its way out of corners is the perfect way to describe it.

Has anyone heard any updates on B58 update?

inb4: "Yes, next week" or "In two weeks".

I have heard something about this.
Can you share or nah? I understand sometimes you get to hang with big folk and you might not be able to speak on something.

It does work, it is running on a handful of cars, it will work on a lot more "soon." I can't give you much more than that, because I don't really know.
Happen to know if the ECU still needs to be sent out? Wish there was a website to verify things like this.
Absolutely does.
