Good news gentlemen! I managed to purchase a 2026 White GR Supra Premium MT from a local dealer for $62000 before taxes and registration. It had 7 miles on it when I took delivery.
How do you know those 7 miles weren’t a quarter mile at a time? As anal as some of you in this thread are about break in I’m surprised you don’t get panic attacks over anything more than zero miles.
This will likely blow some of your minds but I (willingly) bought my Supra via a dealer trade. I let my local dealer go almost 200 miles away to get the car and drive it back. The world didn’t come to an end.

You guys are doing it all wrong. I don’t know how many times I have said this. Find a car broker and go through that company. You still pick it up at the dealer but the broker deals with everything so you don’t have to. I got my car $6700 off msrp, with a no haggle deal. $500 refundable deposit to get the deal going, car of my choice (they give you a list of what they can get), delivered in 2 weeks. Best part was I was at the dealer for 15 min, then handed over the keys and drove away. Have done this for the past 3 new cars. The one time I pulled out of a deal after waiting 6 months (was warned about it at least), got a refund the next day.
And how much do you pay the broker?

You willingly allowed and told them it’s ok, knowing the 200+ miles would be in the clock.

He told them not to do it and they did it anyways.

If you’re too stupid to understand the differences in those two things, I’m sorry, there are no brain transplants in today’s technology. You are doomed to be a dumbass the rest of your life. Good luck “Chad”. Go figure…

Reading comprehension much? Read it again. Or however many it takes to understand. The response was for those who think the engine will blow up if, God-forbid, the entire first 1200 miles isn’t done like Granny going to church.

I don't think anyone here was worried about the engine blowing up in the first 1200 miles.

The issue at hand was the dealership claiming they needed to drive under 100 miles to activate and set the navigation with the BMW codes. Which of course we all know is not necessary. OP was also upset the dealership drove it 80+ miles without consent when they already received payment. To each his own on this one, I can understand if that would upset someone or if someone doesn't care, but the reasoning behind it did not make sense.

Everyone was just stating how many miles they picked up their car with working navigation as a reference point.

Yeah the navigation was working with only 7 miles on the odometer when I pulled out of the dealership. I entered my home address and off I went. No issues. I had not driven a manual in 7 years so it took a few minutes to wake up the left leg. I thought I was constantly stalling the engine at stop lights and signs somehow because of the Auto Start/Stop function!

Read the responses, admit you’re wrong, numerous people said why, you’re the only one that didn’t get it. Be better Chad…

Dude? In the seven pages of this conversation there are multiple people talking about the break in and being worried about how they may have driven the car. I didn’t say one thing about whether they drove it even though the OP asked them not too. You be better. I’m done with you…
